The chocolate mug cake is so fluffy and delicious! I poured a little heavy cream on it to make it a bit more decadent. There was a slight aftertaste I didn't love, but to be able to eat cake on keto, I'll take it!

Taste like a spongy plant base dessert. I got all chocolate. I tasted no chocolate. I followed the instructions which are simple. This is absolutely horrible and a waste of money. Too bad I was really looking forward to it. It cost too much to taste this bad.

As anyone who eats keto knows, while it is a fabulous way to lower blood sugar and lose weight, it is lacking in those delicious carb filled desserts. And sometimes you just want a piece of cake. This little mix is super easy, quick to stir up and produces a delicious single serving of chocolate cake. Only 1 minute in the microwave, a few minutes to cool and then dig in. I like to cover the top of my cake with a thin layer of Nekstella SF Chocolate Hazelnut spread as soon as it comes out of the microwave. It melts to a rich, chocolate "frosting". It makes a generously sized cake and the texture is that of a normal sugar filled cake. I love that it can be made in a microwave allowing me to pop a package in my lunch to enjoy at work or in my camper. Great texture, no weird taste, perfect sweetness, easy to make-what is not to love? And what a perfect solution to work functions or holiday get to-gathers. No more longing looks while others enjoy dessert, or worse yet succumbing to sugar filled dessert only to feel terrible a short time later. This mix has it all-great taste, simple preparation, quick cooking time and portability-all while staying keto. My only suggestion: it would be nice if the instructions were on each individual package instead of just an included instruction sheet. The bonus: the company is a delight to deal with and will promptly respond to an email.
