I needed black dress shoes for my job as a walking tour guide, and out of the several options I tried, these 12 Wides were the most comfortable. Most of the time I don't even think about them while at work. I only experienced a little discomfort when I got them initially, but it seemed to go away fast because they've worked well for 4 months. The texturing on the side is stylish but not overstated (and might not be noticeable under pant legs while standing)
