This shelving hardware was even better in person. It was easy to install and the modern look was perfect for what I was trying to achieve. I did have to buy some small rubber dots to put on the metal arms so the glass I used would not move around and stay more secure. I received a ton of compliments.

Terrible design change
Well it appears the pandemic has taken another victim. This is my fourth set in ten years with my last one purchased in Oct 2019. Sometime between then and now the design has changed for the worse. You are here cause this is a great shelf system when compared to the rest. However just like everything else they have decided to cut cost and quality. First of all you can see from the pick the old design, much cleaner, modern and structurally stronger. You can also see that you are loosing about 40% of the metal but still being charged the same. As far as the quality, some of you have noticed the tolerances being very tight. That is very true. Hope you find your shelf height on the first attempt otherwise you will leave very visible marks and dents for every attempt you make. This message is for the company you know what I am saying is true.

Terrible design
You can ONLY use the 1 1/8 inche screws they provide with the shelves. I have plaster walls and am unable to ensure every screw would be anchored in a lath. My plan was to use molly/butterfly bolts, however, when I tried to put the bolt through the rail into the mounting hole I realized the head of the screw was too big. I tried 4 other varites of screws and NONE of them fit.This product is terribly thought out. Do NOT buy these shelves unless you are planning to use drywall anchors on each of the mounts.

Rough and Sharp Edges
The main reason for returning the Shelving System was the rough/sharp edges at the ends of the vertical standards and the shelf brackets. I think they would have functioned OK but the finish details were unprofessional.
