This backrest is a solid addition. The price is right and it is very well built. It was obvious that i needed to purchase docking hardware separately, which i did. i knew from previous reviews there were no instructions, however if you can't assemble this without instructions, you probably shouldn't be attaching anything to a motorcycle. The assembly took all of 15 minutes, and it snapped right in to my previously installed docking hardware. 2016 FXFB (Fat Bob) nothing else was needed, Great product!Quick update, my wife loves it and says it's very comfortable.

The top screw hole in the pad broke loose without even it being tight.

Got this to replace a smaller sissy bar currently on our motorcycle. Got it in the mail and the luggage rack is great quality . The back rest it's self one of the screw holes was stripped so hopefully the replacement one is in better shape. Love how big the cushion is so hoping we get to use it this weekend!

Very well-built China backrest.

Product is great that being said. If you have a Dyna Superglide you will need to buy a few additional items such as the quick disconnect hardware, bought from Harley’s website, a few others offer it but was already upset that I was needing to buy anything additional, on top of that you will also need to buy the rear turn signal relocation kit as well. The seat also came with no instructions, but it is simple enough to figure out. Looks great on bike. Fits great.

Seems good quality but haven't been able to install because the holes in back rest portion have so much paint in them the bolts won't go through. Thankfully I work for a manufacturer and one of our machinist was able to clean up the threads without too much paint being damaged.

Once you get the bolt on kit. It’s simple to take on and off.
