Was worried they might be flimsy, but they seem very solid, reliable, and well made.The veneer finish is quite hilariously bad. It doesn't even try to look like oak, it's basically just yellow with some red patterned lines on it, which from a distance blur together to look like a vaguely oaky colour.Given that you probably won't be peering at them up close too often, they'll probably generally look good enough though!

Love these shelves! Ideal for display in my lounge. Been admired several times Good value too!

Only want to use these as display stands so didn't want to pay too much, but even at the low price you'd not expect to open the completely intact box to find the large shelf in pieces
