No I doesn't. It was in a box with no packing so it banged around enough to look like it was opened.

Hello and thank you for the question. Typically scar remodeling occurs from the first day after injury till about 1 year after injury. After that point, minor changes occur and have to do with sun exposure and genetics. Biocorneum is probably most efficacious during the scar remodeling process up to 1 year. After 1 year, there can be benefits to Biocorneum use but this may be subject to the factors I mentioned above - sun exposure and genetics. This product is considerably more expensive than other silicon creams. Does it work better and can you tell me why?

My dermatologist recommended this product and it did work well for actinic keratosis scars above my lip. I don't know how it compares to other silicone products since I didn't try them. But I did follow the directions carefully and patiently for months. The scars started to fade after a couple of months.
