I have bought 3 different brands of these & they all burst and mess up my socks & shoes with oily liquid. How long do these last before they burst?

If these are Amazing Insoles, I have some that are many years old. I bought some brand at a flea market years ago and, although they felt great, they leaked within a couple months! Tried Amazing Insoles and still have my originals. They seem to not be as comfy as new ones but never leaked. Hope that helps!

I would like them for sports activities. Will these hold up and/or are they good for this?

I did not like them in my shoes and I can't imagine running around with them. To each his own, but for me they didn't get used. It was a very weird feeling.

Are these sturdy enough for my weight of 312lbs

I would imagine so, I don't think there is a weight limit, but try contacting the manufacturer if you are concerned. I first bought them when I was a mail carrier. I weighed in the 190's and some days would carry one or more packs that could weigh 40-50 lbs. Add power walking cross-country, and they still were able to handle the 7-8 miles a day of foot-pounding abuse. I think they have a lifetime warranty against breakage/leaking. They feel funny at first, the way the gel inside moves and rolls with your feet. After a week or so you won't notice anymore. I still wear them in all my shoes.
