Big Foot Water Soluble Mycorrhizal Inoculant - Mycorrhizae Powder 8 oz

I used Big Foot Mycorrhizae for my potted plants and garden plants, and I really like it so far. It’s easy to apply when repotting or refreshing soil, and I feel like it helps support stronger roots and healthier growth. I like using it especially for plants that need a little extra help adjusting after being moved or repotted. A great product to keep on hand for plant care.

Applied as directed to both new plantings and existing plants...everything seemed to do much better! Just be careful not to breathe it in-it is sporalicious!

Using mycorrhizae has been very beneficial for establishing healthy succulent starts. This formula can be watered in after the plant is already in the pot and contains good organic nutrients — HOWEVER I was dismayed to discover it creates a dark gray solution that leaves a dark residue on my watering can and plant saucers. I used a clear milk jug here to show how dark it is. That would be because of the biochar I guess. I deducted 1 star from my rating for that surprise.

I purchased this along with Big Foot Probiotic Root Boost, and I’ve been using the two together on my houseplants and propagations. I honestly was not prepared for how quickly I would notice a difference. After essentially ONE USE, I started seeing phenomenal root development. I used the mycorrhizae mixture to soak already-rooted cuttings before potting them and have also incorporated it into watering. When I started checking my clear nursery pots, the new root growth was impossible to miss. Healthy, vigorous roots were suddenly taking off throughout the soil. Obviously I can’t separate exactly how much of the result is attributable to this versus the Root Boost because I intentionally use them together; but whatever this little microbial dream team is doing, IT IS DOING IT. 😂 I’m officially incorporating both into my plant routine. Cannot wait to use it in my veggie garden next summer.

Incredible product! When I planted my current run of 9 plants, I decided to give Bigfoot mycorrhizae a shot. I've used a couple other brands before. I used once a week, in a gallon of water. At week 3 I COULDN'T BELIEVE how the roots were! I grow in coco. The roots took up the entire buckets, plus roots out the bottom! I've never seen anything like it. Got a ton of goodies: Humic, Myco Biochar Worm castings My plants go nuts for it!

Picked this up because it’s one of the few mycorrhizae products I found that can be added directly into your watering routine instead of only mixing it into soil during repots. Super easy to use and a little goes a long way. Could absolutely be placebo plant-parent delusion, but I genuinely feel like I’ve noticed less transplant shock and healthier root systems since adding it into the routine. A couple plants that usually throw a dramatic tantrum after repotting barely skipped a beat. I also feel like it’s helped keep any sketchy root rot issues from snowballing, especially in denser mixes. At minimum my plants seem happier. At maximum I may now believe in beneficial fungi propaganda.

Such a good product love the brand. I noticed a month after 2 waterings I got more growth!

Seems to be helping my plants... they were pretty lackluster before and now they seem to have more growth. Compared to other fertilizers ive use this one seems pretty gentle and doesn't harm my plant. Other ones have caused my plants to turn yellow

Definitely noticed a difference! Being able to “water it in” is such a nice feature, holy moly. It seems to be good quality - I’d definitely purchase this again. I’ve used many other brands before and this stuff is one of the best, while being REASONABLY priced!!
