Angry River

The book deserves 5 star for two reasons. 1.Excellent story and narration 2. Font and illustrations This is an excellent story written in such a way that every age group can enjoy. The font size is greater than normal so that it is easier to read. From all the books, I have purchased, this is the only one I could read with such an ease. 5 star for the publishing house ( rupa publications ). The story narrates about a young girl living in an island with her grandparents. When her grandmother became ill, her grandfather had to take grandmother to hospital. So the girl had to stay alone in the Island and it was raining all over. The remaining portion of story describes about how the girl survive the flood. Read it. You won't regret.

Very Beautiful story I think I must have read it atleast 6 times soo beautiful just I fell In love with it. Such a brave story as well as adventures , loving and it's really fun And Ruskin Bond is just a great man he wrote such good stories Actually I can't Stop writing this review And this book is written in very easy language so that children can enjoy it. I really enjoyed it . I'm a 11 yr old . THANK YOU AND YOU MUST READ IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .

About Amazon delivery- Perfect as always. But this Angry River is the short and cut version of the main story Sita amd the River. The main story is much more elaborate and few character's name is different. Ending reading Angry River you would want to like 'What happeed thereafter!', it is good in cases, but in the main story you can get the full satisfaction. And yes, just because it is not complete that does not take back the awesome simplicity and soothing nature of the story. 5 star for this is worth.

Marvellous book not for only children but also for adults to learn from it. Ruskin Bond has shown very good grip over the Indian Rituals, their Thoughts and many more to discover in this book related to life's struggle. Vocabulary is light wighted and valuable which makes the reading easy and interesting. Also the black pictures says a lot about the situation in this book. It's a TINY BOOK WITH HUGE KNOWLEDGE AND DEEP THOUGHTS...

First of all thanx amazone for such a great shopping experience.The book is nice a decent indian story that tells about a little girl and her sufferings in a flood.I read other books of Ruskin Bond also but this story fails to describe the mood though its little bit different but also...after finishing you will find a void which was I never expected from Ruskin Bond.If some one wants to just read a story then its ok with this but if any one wants to feel the beauty of reading then better go for ROOM ON THE ROOM, The Rain In The Mountain,and sone other like The Kite Maker...

Awesome Book. But it was a little dirty. Recommended for sure.
