The razor blades I received were all very dull, as if they had been sitting around for a long time, and not suitable for a second use after shaving once with them. The product is what it advertises itself to be and was delivered in a timely fashion, it just seems they unloaded some very old blades on me, which is disappointing.

I purchased 12 4-packs of these razor cartridges on sale directly from Dorco in late 2012. I was previously a Gillette Fusion user, but wanted to see if I could save some money by switching to these highly rated Dorco blades. Yes, they are cheaper, but they are definitely not as good. First of all, 6 blades is really overkill. The razor face is so big, that these razors feel like a block planer against the face, but unfortunately, the shave isn't nearly as smooth! I have never been lucky enough to get a clean shave with only 1 pass, but I have to go over the same area 3-5+ times with these razors and it still isn't as smooth. I think 5 blades a bit further apart would be better. Also, I typically used to only save every 2-3 days. However, with these, I now need to shave every day since the shave just isn't as close or as good as with the Gillette blades. The trimmer blade on these is nearly worthless since is is inset so much. Getting around the nostrils is not really possible with the trim blade. The Gillette trim blade is more exposed and works great for that. Very disappointing. I also don't think these cartridges last as many shaves as the Gillette ones. In the end, these cartridges are cheaper, but they definitely aren't better and I'm not sure I have really saved any money in the long run since the shave isn't as good, takes longer, and the cartridges seem to wear out quickly. Lesson learned...

Just Google Dorco to get straight to the site.As far as performance, I have to shave daily for my job and was a blade snob using only Gillette M3 Power blades for years. They are 4 blade as opposed to these 6 blade cartridges (which might be slight overkill). Performance-wise they are close enough for me to save about 75% off of the Gillette price. Because of the bulk resulting from having 6 blades, they won't get right under your nose- you have to use the edge blade for that and BE CAREFUL! I cut myself with that blade a few times. You really only have to apply slight pressure for that to work. The blades last as long or longer as my M3 Power cartridges.*** tip for those who don't already know - run your razor across a pair of jeans 15-20 times to hone the blades and lengthen the life of each cartridge. I do this regularly and it really works. Make sure you push them the opposite way than you pull them across your face. You don't want to shave your jeans...

I have been using Gillette Fusion blades since shortly after they went on the market. I truly love how sharp the blades were and their longevity. What I disliked was the outrageous price one had to pay for them. Gillette, being the capitalist enterprise that it is, charged an exorbitant price. They charged what the market would bear. I know I paid it even though I am known as a "skin flint!" However, now that Dorco has a similar razor blade that provides a comfortable shave and is every bit as sharp, we should see the price begin to drop. The only question left for the Dorco blade to answer is its longevity. My first order was 4 blades and the razor. After 3 shaves with the same blade, it still seems as sharp as the first shave. If it will last half as long as the Fusion, I am sure that Gillette will lose market share unless they drastically reduce the price. I would recommend that any man who expects a close and comfortable shave, to give the 6 blade Dorco a try.

These razors give a good close shave with minimal discomfort or effort, but the blades are also so close together that you basically have to throw out the cartridge after one use because you'll never get the lather/hair/water out. This is fine if you're used to that, but I tend to reuse a cartridge once or twice. Add into that the fact that each cartridge costs you $2.50+ and it gets to be rather expensive. I initially bought this because the replacement blades are $5 for a 4-pack, but then Dorco Pace screws you by tacking on $5 shipping and handling. If you order 2 or 3 of those 4-packs? $5 shipping and handling for each. Not cool, guys: I'll take my business elsewhere.

I bought the dorco 6 hoping to find alternative to paying the high prices for Gillette razors. I really wanted to like this product but it is awful!I've used disposable razors that offer a better and more comfortable shave than this crap.Obviously, my opinion on this this product is in the minority but I listened to the reviews and now I'm out $20.

Stop paying for rip off razors. they gave me a close shave every time . this is must buy get it now.

Been using Dorco razors now for several years and have been delighted with them. But the latest set of blades are terrible. They just don't seem that sharp, they clog up quickly using King of Shaves gel and generally feel cheap. I still have an old Mach 3 in the cabinet that may have to be resurrected. Shame really, it was so good

I was a bit put off buying these blades at first by some of the reviews which claimed that the blades cut people-but in my experince they did not-but gave me a very comfortable shave and at well below the price of the well known brands are great value-the handle is good too,nice and ergonomic.Very pleased i found these and will be buying more and recommending them to my friends.

Excellent razors, half the price of Gillette and last nearly as long. The emails checking all is ok from the customer service team is simply unexpected, you could all do well working for BT with your customer service skills!Buy two packs a month excellent saving to spend on other things rather than razors, thank you for your product, it's great

I have never had a better shave than with Dorco. And believe me I have tried everything from throwaway to the big brand names. None come close(no pun intended) They shave comfortable in any direction on your face. My chin is difficult with other blades, but with Dorco brilliant! 10/10 and more. AET
