I bought these because I had seen them at someone else's house where they worked very well to reduce the room overheating on sunny days. Many have said applying this is surprisingly simple as long as you use plenty of soapy water. I found the same. When done they looked very good. It's well worth watching the video which shows the process clearly.I bought a long piece because I had several two-paned windows. Only two sets of the peeling pieces were supplied and they won't do more than two runs; sadly that's too few with a long piece. I managed to make some more with 'gaffer tape'. Spraying the soapy solution brought on a tight chest so I did the remainders wearing a clinical grade face mask which worked well. This is worth thinking about if you have respiratory problems.

In a new build property - our kitchen extension gets super hot in the Spring/Summer. We trialled this film on the kitchen windows/patio doors last year in 2025 to help with temperature control, it certainly made a difference, some reduced light. This year (2026) we've decided to trial it on our kitchen skylight windows in combination with velux blinds also - Hoping for a an even cooler kitchen this summer. Application was straight forward, cut to size with excess on all sides, use plenty of soapy water and work out the water bubbles from the centre outwards, it takes time, persevere, the drying process also takes mini bubbles away also, use a sharp craft knife to cut excess. Looks great, we purchased 'Silver' - definitely offers privacy during day hours, windows are opaque from outside at night with lights on indoors, temperature has definitely reduced. (Warm/hot windows to touch indicate its doing its job reflecting heat away). We are likely going to apply these to our bedrooms/office windows also. Definitely recommend!

Worked perfectly to add privacy and stop hard sunlight on my home office desk without blocking too much light.Installation is not too difficult just don't rush to get best results.Make sure to thoroughly clean the window first, then clean it again!Soak window and the window facing side of the film once separated with weak soapy solution. Place film on window and if enough water this allows fine placement by sliding.Starting from the centre push the water to the edges with the squeegee provided (a towel or old sheet is a good idea to catch the water).Takes a few attempts to remove all, just keep pushing any new "bubbles" to the edge. Has been up for over a month and no peeling or bubbles.

Frankly it looks a mess. You need to put this on in a completely sterile atmosphere. I followed the instructions exactly; but it has bubbles in it and the odd hair. Fortunately it’s only in the Summerhouse. I have one piece left, which will probably never get used. I’m glad I only bought one pack as a tester. I didn’t realise it would be sticky, I thought it would be like the stuff that covers the readout areas on new electrical devices.

Arrived quickly and easy to apply- use the 2 pieces of sticky tape with the arrows to separate the film from the backing- it's a lot easier than trying to find the edge of the film with a fingernail!Use lots of soapy water as it helps adherence and to smooth the bubbles out quicker, cut roughly to size before applying.Speedy the window and the film will if you need to reposition or it will crazy and you can't get them out.It makes my room a bit darker- I chose moon silver and it definitely keeps the room cooler especially with the recent heatwave but you can still see into my bedrooms even with the sunlight on the windows.I purchased this because we have a TV on the wall and wanted to keep prying eyes out but you can still see it… blinds remain closed over 😔

Die Fensterfolie ist schön als Fensterdeko mit Sichtschutz Faktor. Allerdings hält sie nicht immer sofort auf Anhieb. Mann muss sie am besten auf trockener Fläche auflegen und sofort glatt streichen.Dann hält sie auch sehr gut.

Le film est facile à poser ; il suffit de bien suivre les instructions. Pas de problème de bulle d'air. Le rendu est joli, il laisse quand même passer la lumière.
