Review: Fits perfectly on my 2021 Chevy Colorado - This is a quality product, it looks great and they designed it with slots so that you can get exact alignment to the existing holes. The slots are, however, just slightly smaller than the screws provided and the start them you may need a drill drive for ONLY the first full turn. Almost Perfect but One Major Drawback
This is a great looking bug shield and it was easy to install with four screws supplied with it. However, the installation requires you to permanently remove two weather strips under the front of the hood. The instructions say "the bugshield eliminates the need for weather-stripping," however, it doesn't! At least it doesn't for my model truck, a 2018 Chevy Colorado. After installation, the shield leaves about a 0.5 - 0.75 inch gap where the original weather stripping used to be. That's a gap for letting rain and bugs into the engine compartment as you go down the road. Unfortunately, the original weather stripping cannot be reinstalled after the bugshield is installed -- its press-in fasteners would be too short and the rubber stripping would be too thick once placed over the new bug shield. To address this, I have added weather stripping purchased at a local home improvement store and cut to appropriate thickness to take up the gap. It's still to be determined how well it will hold up though. I did carefully remove the truck's original weather strips and will keep them for reinstallation should I decide to take off the bug shield when I sell my truck someday. The trick to safely removing the strips is simply to pry them off by backing out each press-in fastener with needle-nose pliers or even open scissors. Do not cut or snip the press-in fasteners as they can be reused if you decide to reinstall the weather strips. It's possible that alternative bug shields made by this or other manufacturers that are secured with adhesive rather than screws may not require removal of the vehicle's original weather strips. I'm sure each attachment method has its pro's and con's. I am confident that the screws used for this bug shield make for a very secure and sturdy installation -- it won't come off unless I decide to take it off. That may not be true for adhesive methods of attachment.

not a exact fit
Like the way it looks and good quality for the price, however it is not a exact fit for my 2018 Chevy Colorado, had to drill some new holes and the clip screws show when you shut the hood because it does not go all the way flush with the hood.

IT'S Not A WADE ,IS A WESTIN BRAND with CLIPS and only 2 bolts.
The original 1-2019 (another brand) i bought lasted 2 years but to installed was scraping the hood, ,this one you use the holes already there by removing the rubber seleants u just pull them off This one looks better lasted 3 years and it doesn't scratch the hood,. I ordered a replacement 3-26-2024. 2018 Colorado LT Well I got a different item, Westin with brakckets. smh..now got to send it back again.... Get it right.... They sent one like avs brand with brackets scratches the hood even if u put the glue insulators.sent one with rounded ends, not angled... if you are looking for the one on the pictures get it from some place else. Looks good but your hood is going to get scratches, good luck, the AI said it was going to be screwed on, no clips, BS it's not a wade, it's a WESTIN with clips... Didn't add the clips if u see the pics the AVS with clips scratched my paint did that..the round end one is the Wade.. try AutoZone they might get you the Wade

Great shield
This has been installed on my truck for a couple months now. It enhances the look of my truck. It was easy to install on my Colorado. It's been exposed to car washes and extreme cold and ice of winter. I'm not one to just throw high reviews at a product. But this one is worth the praise.

Fits a 2021 Chevy Colorado LT perfectly.
5-10 minutes total install. A few minutes to remove the existing foam/polymer/rubber seal. (Used a fork for this). And a few more minutes to screw the bug shield into the existing hole layout.

Remove the water sealant of the good
Looks good and easy to install you need a flat screw driver to remove your water sealant of the hood first and then you proceed to install it's worth the price

Looks Great but tough to install
Had a lot of issues lining this up with the weather stripping holes on my dad's chevy colorado. It was almost like the mould was off but we muscled it into the right place. We ended up drilling a new hole in-line with the weather stripping holes. We bought it to cover a scratch right on the front of the hood which definitely helps and was a perfect disguise to clean up the look of his truck and the truck actually looks cooler with it on. Removed the "wade" branding just because it looked cleaner without it. I would've given 5 stars if it were a seamless install but it wasn't too easy.

Assemblage médiocre
Sur un Colorado 2018 les trous du déflecteur n'arrivent pas du tout en ligne avec ceux du capot
