The Good!I wanted to build my own fish tank LED fixture instead of buying one for over $200. This light package has both multi-color LED's and the white LED's that can be turned on and controlled independently at the same time...that is important. Many of these types of fixture don't allow you to use the white and color at the same time. The Bluetooth connectivity and software package allows me to schedule different lighting schemes for select times of the day to mimic a naturally lit environment (and allows a day-to-day schedule for different schemes on select days). As you can see from the pic, even in daylight, the light is very bright...great for the plants and fish alike. Obviously I can change colors too. A nice dim red makes a great nightlight.The Bad:The connection was poor. Out of the box, it was apparent the white light circuit had an unsecured connection...then the colors had it too. When I removed the shrink-wrap from the soldered connection, I saw the copper ribbons were cut during fabrication (see pic). I'm good with a soldering iron, so I stripped the light back to the next junction and used a mechanical connector (made for these fixtures) that is very secure and soldered the wires to extend the whip. Also, the pin connector that plugs into the Bluetooth module has no snap or securing mechanism, so it kept falling out (hence the electrical tape). These were the reasons for the 3 stars...otherwise it would have been 5.

I purchased the LAIMAIK LED Strip Light Kit in White to try and replace the lighting on a Christmas snowflake window decoration. While I didn't need the waterproofing I thought it would be a nice bonus if I decided to use it for something else. Unfortunately, I could not use it for this as after hooking it up, as it was about ten times brighter than the other snowflakes I had.The rubber coating that makes the lights waterproof is quite flexible and could easily bend 90 degrees or more, but it can not make a 180 degree bend. If you try to bend it that much, the rubber coating splits. The lights will still function, but the coating will break and start to peel off. I do not think that the provided AC adapter should be used outside or where it can get wet. Additionally, the AC adapter gets quite warm when plugged in for an extended time.The LAIMAIK LED Strip Light Kit in White produces a super bright white light that would be good for any application that needs a bright light. Overall, it is a good product and I would recommend it.

Used this product to illuminate a water wall fountain. The adhesive didn't stick well and the top layer of clear rubbery coating can split when going around very tight corners. To solve both of these I just used a high strength hot glue which resulted in better adhesion and repaired the cracks.The other issue is that the connections are a little loose and occasionally need a little handling to get the lights back on again but usually, once they are on they won't turn off.The issues mentioned aren't a big deal. The colors are beautiful and the Bluetooth connectivity feature with the app is very nice.

Works great, Very bright. Bluetooth connection works most of the time. If your phone app does not connect, unplugging/ replugging the light strip usually fixes it App allows you to save custom colors and gradient transitions.

Well, it's not waterproof for certain areas such as the kitchen or even vehicle, that's not the best feature. However, it's lengthy and light weight for installing and functioning. The look is NOT very appealing and could be in more color options do to your decor but is small enough to conceal.

I setup the phone and uploaded a few songs and hooked up the one set. It worked perfectly checked out the second led and it lit and played. I have not had time for a full test but it everything seems to work just as described.

Just what I needed and expected. Used for above counter under cabinets. Perfect, only issue was the stickiness of the 3M tape. Sticking to wood wasn’t the perfect thought out idea, if the wood was painted or smoot probably would’ve stuck. I’d for sure purchase again.

Used this to make a light panel for photography. The LEDs are nice and bright, and can be dimmed using a separate dimmer. The adhesive is pretty good. All around it's a good product.
