This is a night-time life saver!
I finally found something that gives me the night-time support that I need for my plantar faciitis - that doesn't cut off circulation and doesn't let you fall out of the brace. There are 3 velcro straps that can be adjusted to your comfort AND there are locking straps on the top and middle straps to keep the velcro in place. Those are also adjustable. I only occasionally use the ice pack that come with it, if I've had a painful day. The ice pack is not so cold that it's uncomfortable, but it stays cold long enough to feel relief (usually beyond when I fall asleep). The one thing I will say is that it is a little bulky and it is sometimes a challenge to get your feet positioned comfortably. Back sleepers won't have this issue. As a side sleeper, I actually rest my other foot on the ridge of the splint to try to keep that one at 90 degrees. The splint is light enough that I can do this sleeping on either side. The front wedge that keeps your toes up isn't very noticable to me; my toes are already higher than they should be just standing. Walking with this splint takes some getting used to, but I've also never had a broken bone or a need for other splints, so I imagine it would be somewhat similar. I keep it on if I need to get up in the middle of the night and get around just fine. The skids on the bottom keep it from ruining the floor. All around, a great product!

good splint but didnt fit right
Splint is a good angle for support and material is very comfortable. I bought it because it didn't seem as bulky as most night splints and was a good price. The strap over the foot and ankle lay very well but the strap that goes over the leg does not lay over the cushioned part so it digs into your skin and shifts, taking away from the support. I am average sized and it seems the top strap would only lay right on someone with very thin lower legs. Of course everyone is different shapes and sizes so it would be worth a try. For me, it wasn't a fit and I had to return it. The delivery was prompt and the return was easy and hassle free.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS!!
I have a problem with leg cramps at night, especially my calf. I have to keep my foot in a flexed position and when I fall asleep my foot relaxes and then I get cramps. I've tried multiple things to try and alleviate the problem but this is the only thing that has worked consistently. This is a quality brace. There is nothing flimsy or cheap about it It is light and comfortable to wear and well padded. I can walk to the bathroom during the night without having to take it off, but it's not designed as a walking boot. I thought it would be cumbersome to sleep in but it isn't. It's so nice to sleep through the night without flying out of bed with a leg cramp. I can see where it would be great for plantar fasciitis or achilles tendonitis even though I don't have either of those conditions. Frankly, I'm surprised it doesn't cost twice the price...it's that well made.

Great splint, but sizing, as listed, is wrong for women
When deciding to purchase this splint, I saw some reviews from women saying the size they ordered was much too large. I suspect the men's sizing is fairly accurate (most likely it was made, and marketed, by men), but if you are familiar with the typical difference in numbering between men and women's shoes, you will agree something is strange here. I wear a 9.5-10 women's running shoe, which is about the same size as a man's 8. I ordered the Medium, and it's a perfect fit with some room to spare both in length and width. The large would have been gigantic on me, so I am glad I did not blindly follow the manufacturer's sizing suggestions. I propose the sizing should be something more like: Small: Women <6.5/7, Men <5 Med: Women 7-10.5/11, Men size 5-10 Large: Women 11+, Men 10+ Other than the wonky sizing instructions, I very much like the splint. The ice pack is quite cold, even with a thin sock on, and gave me the same cold ache as I get from an ice massage. I agree with another reviewer who said that the velcro portion of the top strap is potentially a little short for someone with larger calves. However, the strap on the overlapping buckle is long enough that the velcro not meeting well shouldn't keep someone from using the splint effectively. I am using the splint without the toe wedge until my foot loosens up some, but I like that the velcro on the wedge allows you to adjust the placement to get more or less of a stretch. I previously tried a dorsal-style splint (the futuro one), and no matter how I adjusted it my toes fell asleep or it just didn't position my foot properly. This boot style is bulkier but much more comfortable and effective. According to the instructions, the removable soft liner is hand-washable. It's attached in the boot with velcro, so it isn't too difficult to get back in place.

Effective and easy to use!
I had purchased another brand at a much lower price prior to this one. You get what you pay for, right? This one is much better. It holds the foot at 90 degrees as it should and it is easy to hook up the velcro. I had read a review prior to purchasing that someone had large calves and had to return because it did not fit their calf. This is an issue for me, but I am JUST able to get the velcro connected around my fat calf. Real close fit!! There is also a pretty neat foam wedge inside that you can adjust to increase the flexibility. I have a small foot (size 6) so this wedge helped to increase the stretch. While it is hard plastic on the outside, it does have rubber strips allowing for a short trip to the bathroom over night.

Purchased this and used it during my torn achilles recovery along with using after rough games. It provides excellent support, ankle/foot positioning and most of all comfort. Straps are soft and velcro holds well. Underfoot rubber also works well for traction and quietness while walking with it.
