Typical USB wifi adapters based on Realtek chips do not work with Linux due to driver issues. This adapter (based on RTL8192EU Realtek WiFi chipset) works out of the box with Arch/Manjaro Linux. Supports soft AP mode in Linux (not supported on Windows 10) Note that this is not dual band and supports only 2.5GHz Signal strength is respectable (3/4 bars) for a distance of 10 feet with a wall in between. Achieving around 20Mbps on Ookla speed test on both upload and download Edit: works out of the box without driver install for windows 10 latest builds and Linux (Arch/Manjaro/openSUSE). Speeds on Linux is lower ( Max 1.5-2 MBps vs 3MBps) Edit: sticking the dongle into a USB port encased in plastic (like front USB) delivers much better speed than using a USB port encased in metal (rear of the case) Edit: using Thai dongle with usb2.0 port instead of usb3.0 give better speed (54Mbps)

hello, Its Rohit here. This wifi adapter is best for all users but i purchased this only for 1 reason thats for ethical hacking course. Using it normal is too easy if u wanna use for windows. More info: Name: Tenda U3 Mini 300mbps Chipset: RTL8192EU Im using this on my Kali Linux Virtual machine, trust me finding a perfect driver for rtl8192eu is too much pain. I tried many drivers rebooted & then it worked in monitor mode. Again this is best product but driver for linux took me 2 days. If i found more tips for driver i will post it again here.

Bought it to run Wi-Fi on a MacBook Air 2017 with a Linux Os. Internet is slow and the antenna shows one dot only. It is plug and play with appearance of a Wi-Fi at the top in the internet drop down. Make sure you have unchecked the accompanying airport mode.

Works perfect with our cctv dvr. If you are looking for wireless access to cctv footage from mobile app buy this dongle. Other dongles don’t work

Please keep in mind that the device signal reception is very poor compared to tp-link. Computer and router were kept in different rooms, it was showing speed less than 1 mb. Where as the tp-link can show 2-3mb. It doesn't support 5ghz signal, so whoever wants to connect to high speed 5ghz signals (for example from your jio broadband) then please avoid this. Instead put some 200 rupees extra and buy tp-link AC600 adaptor which supports 5ghz.

Clef reconnue de suite par Linux Endeavour basée sur Arch mais pas fonctionnelle car une fois le mot de passe entré la connexion ne se fait pas. Il faut installer le drivers clnhub /rtl8192eu-linux trouvé sur GitHub et Tout fonctionne.
