I did the searching for you to find this great product!For anyone like me who thoroughly loves to eat/entertain outdoors, this screen is a must have!It keeps 99.9% of those nasty pesky flies out of the house while you're going in or out with trays of food etc.It has several great features. It's made of a durable quality material and comes with a sufficient number of tacs and plentiful of velcro stripping for attaching it to the door frame. In what I consider the most important fearure...are strong magnets! The magnets enable the two screens to slam shut behind you when going in or out. My past experience with similar screens that flapped around before the weak magnets connected the two sides, defeated the whole purpose for this type of screen...which is to close quickly to keep the flies out!As an added bonus....the price is unbeatable! An excellent deal you won't regret!For ease of taking it down as need be, I added a simple straight stitch at the top to insert a tension rod. In my search I saw only one with this added feature with a more than tripled price!

This product worked they way it was intended too. Easy to install, keep the insects out, but after less than five months the adhesion started to give way from my metal aluminum framing. So I ended up taking it down with no damage to the frame.

This is a very durable screen. I have three, now four.. The first one I installed fours ago in my camper because we have two medium and large springer spaniels who wear electric boundary collars when camping and they need to go in and out without letting in bugs. They would scratch at a stationary screen and shred it. The magnet screen wipes insects off the top of the dogs and clicks shut behind them. That screen has had a rough life. As long as the top center is positioned a little higher than the top edges, it always works It is so good that I bought two more, one for the front entry of my house and one to the upstairs bedroom porch door. Those are two and three years old respectively. The material is sturdy. This brand, Lux, is far better than previous brands I have used.The original screen in our Scamp camper was adapted to fit the narrow door. I measured the door and sewed a long tuck on each side of the panels and the length had to be shortened. Finally I tore little holes in the screen from putting my bicycle inside the camper. The patch material is stiffer than the screen material and the patch material aged poorly and upset the balance of the screen closing. I just bought another to replace it and will tailor it to fit. I bet I’ll get four years out of this one.

This is the third magnetic screen I have purchased. It's simple design works perfectly with my balcony door, letting fresh air in while keeping bugs out!

This screen, even though it was a very reasonable price, seems to be built much better than others I have tried. This screen was exactly the size I ordered N no chance of a lost magnet since the magnets are sewn into the fabric. I am extremely happy with this screen and it sure makes it easy going to and from my grill/smoker on the deck. I very highly recommend this screen for anyone wanting to simplify going to and from outside. Even customers with no DIY skills could install the screen with no trouble at all.

I installed the new screen door on the sliding door to my fenced back yard. Since the door is designed for a standard swing-in door, I had to make a few changes to use it ... My door is only 78" high from the base and the door is much longer -- so I sewed a 'pleat' about half way up to make it work. (that also created a 'handle' for me). This is my second screen from this company. Over past years, I used several "magnetic screens" that were hung from a 'curtain rod'. None of them ever lasted the entire summer. This screen lasts so much longer and doesn't fall down at all during the summer. I would still be using the screen (same company and model) from last year, but my Yorkshire Terrier scratched through the screen (when the inside glass door was closed) enough over the 6 months in use to poke huge holes in the screen. It was easier to replace the entire screen than mend her holes! I have two dogs (both less than 20 pounds) and two cats who enjoy the freedom to come and go as they choose. I love that I don't have to be on standby every minute to let one in or out or in or out...... (The original screen that came with the sliding door lasted all of a week before one of my grandchildren walked through it -- it never worked well afterwards). I hope this year I will not have the doggie 'holes' and will be able to get another year from the screen. It is not terribly expensive so using it only one or two years is not a concern.

Work well once they are adjusted but UV light breaks down the material after a few years in the sun.

Works great! My Chihuahua now has the freedom of coming inside and going outside whenever he feels like it without me fussing because I have to get up to open and close the patio door. It is thick and sturdy and easy to install just a bit long but a few safety pins took care of that with a little homemade hem on the bottom. I definitely recommend purchasing this one.
