Works like a charm!
These fly traps work so unbelievably well. Within minutes of hanging it there’s already flys buzzing around trying to get in. They aren’t the prettiest thing but worth it for how they keep the flys away. We just hang in towards the back or side of our yard so that we can sit on our patio without a million flys bothering us. It does such a good job of keeping the flys wherever you hang it. It’s in a durable bag and you just hang it on a tree or the fence or wherever you’d like. Something to be aware of is it will definitely start to stink horribly bad after a week or maybe sooner if it’s hot outside. We change ours out every 5 days or so right now. We like to put the bag in a ziplock before we dispose of it to try and help keep the smell down while it’s in the trash can. They are pretty gross but I still highly recommend them if you are tired of flys in your yard and you’re willing to replace them frequently. If you don’t replace them they will start to smell like a dead animal.

Vile but effective
Hard for me to describe just how vile these things are! I mean, they stink. But that said they catch lots of flies. By the time I dispose of one of these, it has 3 inches of dead flies in it. Some tips: they are most effective in the first 30 days. I live in a very hot dry climate so I use an old weed sprayer to add water to them since they will dry out if I don’t. Plus, I don’t have to get that close to them if I do it that way. I will leave the old ones out when I replace them, and they will dry out completely in a couple of weeks. That makes them considerably less disgusting to throw out. I will just add water to the newer ones. If I’m feeling fancy, I will use a different color bailing twine so I know which is which. I have tried more expensive brands and keep buying these as they seem to be the best.

These work amazingly well.
I bought 2 traps to try, and they filled up in 2 weeks. I bought this pack of 8 and just put 4 of them out not even a week ago and they are almost full...all 4 of them! They all had flies in them in the first couple hours, and hundreds by the end of the day. They do smell terrible, but I really only smell them when I am very close or the wind is blowing in my direction. You will smell them from much farther than 20 feet if the wind is blowing toward you. I would never place one very close to my sitting area, not even 50 feet. I had placed them around my livestock fences and notice fewer flies bothering my livestock. I will continue buying these throughout this fly season. Next year, I will start early to knock out the first generation of flies.

Epic catcher
These are the best fly traps I’ve ever used. It was mesmerizing watching all the little *****ers just end themselves. The trap is a little stinky - but it’s outside use so it’s fine. I ended up putting 3 outside yesterday evening - and all 3 this morning have hundreds of flies inside already. I think I cleared out our neighborhood. If you want to be an ultimate fly assassin, these things are great. Just hope none of the bags ever rip (I’m not worried about it) because the cleanup would be pretty bad. You will need some string or wire (I used picture frame wire) to hang them, but can hang from about anything.

Impressive
Living in a farming community in Pennsylvania, flies can get BAD during the warmer months. I bought these fly traps and within 2 days I already noticed a significant decrease in flies around the house and outside areas. I’m giving them a 4/5 only because they didn’t come with lanyards or hooks for hanging, so I ended up using zip ties instead. Honestly though, that was an easy fix. As for the odor...people complaining about the smell should remember this is literally a bag filling up with dead flies. The packaging even warns you about it, so I don’t think that’s a fair reason to lower the rating. Also, buying the multi-pack here was cheaper than what I found in local stores in PA. Definitely worth the money and I’ll absolutely be buying them again

Smells like hell, works great.
Yes, these reek. Yes they catch flies, and they are super easy to use. They are not reusable, which is for the best, cause if you spilled the solution on yourself, you would regret it. These are a much better value than at the feed stores. I’m super happy I got them, helps keep down the massive fly issues I have with animals in my yard & close proximity to rivers & waterways.
