Nice looking shelf, is not meant for any sort of load, I put supports under shelf to help support it because I decided after I ordered to put my PC on it, not shelf’s fault I decided to put 30-40lbs on it, great shelf for display though, I bought 2 and love them

High quality wood appearance uneven if not solid wood. Easy to install.

These “8x8” shelves are short. The screws that came with the anchors are too short. When anchoring to the wall the screws have to be slightly larger than the anchors. My screws were just spinning around. The anchors were not stripped… due to this it costed me a trip to the hardware store to buy longer ones. When I came back and screwed the longer ones in they gripped and sat flush immediately. The minute I put something 5 pounds on there it started to bow. Not returning because I already drilled the holes and not taking them off the wall just to create more work for myself to patch. I’ll just use it for knickknacks. This is false advertisement at its finest cause I highly doubt people are putting anything more than a candle on here. They got lamps on these things as advertised.

For the price, this is not the quality that I expected. It's made of light-weigh material, likely thin fiberboard. The metal prongs, 3 on this 55" version of their floating shelf, are a little shorter than I would have liked for a more stable shelf, especially since the metal in the tubes doesn't seem to be all that thick either. I can see this shelf starting to lean downward from the wall because of this issue. The bottom line here is that I don't trust this shelf to hold much weight, certainly not the 45lbs the company promises. Installation was easy enough. Of course, it's up to the buyer to be sure that the wall is plomb and has no bows that can make a shelf, especially a longer one not fit entirely flush with the wall. The hardware for installation that came with the shelf worked satisfactorily although I would have liked it more if the larger anchors for wallboard where they're placed in hollows had a more secure feel once the screw was tightened. All in all, I think that this unit is overpriced, not likely to stand the test of time, and not worthy of going anywhere where it would be used to support heavier items and because of its low quality feel anywhere where one wants to make a good impression. In my case, it's being used in a laundry room, but now that it's installed, it will not be supporting heavy bottles of detergent.
