Buy The Lego Boost Idea Book: 95 Simple Robots and Hints for Making More! Combined by Yoshihito Isogawa (ISBN: 9781593279844) from desertcart's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Fabulous - This is a great book. It is absolutely what is needed as an add-on to the Lego Boost. If your child can easily follow regular Lego instructions but also likes to free build and invent their own stuff then this is a must-have book to go with the Boost. The instructions and images are well set out and rather than just (blindly) following instructions they help a child understand the mechanics they are working with, how stuff works, and to get help with a basic idea/mechanics whilst having the freedom to be creative and bring their own ideas to life. Well worth the money, great quality and size. I think my son (age 9) found one or two minor errors which he pointed out to me but many products have small errors and it gives the opportunity to talk about: 1. How no one is perfect and we do not need to achieve perfection 2. How to figure something out for yourself. Review: Excellent Lego boost resource - I love this book as it encourages readers to use their creativity to make different models. I would highly recommend this book as I have been using this book to teach Lego boost to my 4 years old son who is now 5 to make models in a short time. The original Lego models are excellent but they are time consuming for young children. This book has built confidence in my son that he is now able to create his own simple models without referring to any resource and I believe that is the real power of this book.

Great addition to lego boost
Bought this book as a lockdown treat for my 9 year old. He loves building the robots and learning to code them. It has brought a new lease of life to his Lego boost set. The instructions are a little hard to follow, but with a bit of patience he has managed all the builds on his own so far. Highly recommended

Great book!
Younger kids really enjoyed making the simple designs. Helps them (and grown ups...) understand basics of gears, programming controls etc in much more fundamental but still fun way vs the main Boost models. Also felt easier for them to be more creative adding on to the basic designs vs with the more sophisticated Lego base models. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect complementary to LEGO Boost
My son (5 yo) loves the Lego Boost Idea Book and has started enjoying his LEGO Boost even more! Before the book, he completed all the Boost robots, but didn't quite understand what he is doing in the LEGO Boost app. Now with this book, the step by step approach into various functions of the hub and how you can program it makes huge difference! I also really like that there are no brink-by-brick instructions like every LEGO has, but my son needs to figure out how the robot works in order to build it. I strongly recommend buying this book!

Superb
This is a tremendously good book. Inspired my 7 year old. The projects are often small and simple (compared with the original Boost models) but demonstrate what Boost can really do and encourage new creative models. Good instructions (different from standard Lego step-by-step). Highly recommended.

Lego Boost, Mini Robotics at it's best.
A quick flick through this book and we could tell it is as good as all Yoshihito Isogawa previous books. My grandson & I have already started building the first ones. Can't wait to work through them all with my 4yr old grandson.

I bought a Lego boost kit a couple of months back, and my nephew took an instant liking to it. My 4-year-old nephew pretty much completed every set given in the app and the instructions. I then heard about this book from a friend and bought it (a little expensive, to be honest). It's helped a lot - it adds more examples for my nephew to do, and he gets to spend more time with Lego, while not getting bored. In those terms, it's a pretty decent addition, as it adds to the value of a ~10K Lego boost kit.

This book doesn’t have instructions, so I was concerned my son would find it frustrating. This is not the case at all. There are plenty of pictures that my 6yo is able to recreate the projects with very little help. The projects are super fun! It has inspired him to try his own creations, whereas before he was only interested in following instructions. The book also includes some coding suggestions for each of the projects. This is a great addition to his Boost set.

The only Lego book (or author - he has probably more similar books) worth to buy
