My son has this vest and told me I needed one. I’m so glad I listened. This vest is AMAZING! It fits beautifully and feels great. I chose to get 2-20# plates, for a total of 40#, and the padding on the shoulders as well as the perfect weight distribution makes it feel like it’s a part of me instead of the floppy vest I had before. The Velcro is strong and sturdy, material is high quality, and changing out the plates is made easy by the thoughtful design. I thought that carrying rectangular plates would feel awkward, but it doesn’t at all. I highly recommend this vest.

If you want a piece of exercise gear that will last longer than you, this is your huckleberry. It's made seriously tough to handle the worst punishment you can put yourself through. And it's been vetted by some heavy hitters who know a thing or two about ruckin. This thing holds between 10 and 60 lbs. That's incredible when you think about how long this vest will be with you - and where else are you going to get that kind of return on your investment?

So obviously sturdy, and well designed in many ways, particularly the quality of the fabric, the stitching, etc., I felt confident this thing would last forever and I really wanted to like it But the sizing was ... odd - and lacked the flexibility to accommodate a larger frame. Don't get this if you have a chest greater than 44" and are over 6'. The shoulder straps aren't designed for the padding to extend if you need additional length (so you'll end up with bare straps on your traps if you extend them more than 2"), and the waist belt velcro isn't big enough to accommodate a larger chest. This is designed for skinny folks. And I imagine they'll love it.
