Works well
I used this today on mild steel and it gave a very nice finish. I think that the one piece construction makes it more rigid the two piece mill/arbor units that I have. It's good value.

Solid piece, I ordered two more of different size after using this one
I’m a busy guy, I work full time, I have four kids and a wife, and I’m trying to start up my own small business. Writing reviews takes some time, and time is very valuable to people that are in similar positions as myself. I felt this is one of those products that has earned a few minutes of my time because it has performed so well. Let me start by saying I’m fairly new to milling, I don’t always know what to expect (finish wise) with each bit. Others have posted have posted that it produces an almost mirror like finish. I was not disappointed. I’m building jigs for my wood lathe out of aluminum blocks. The blocks had a few rough edges after being cut down to size. I need two pieces to go together, but slide against each other, with minimal resistance as I positioned them into place. The finish is outstanding, I liked it so much that I purchased two other sizes and had them delivered today. The product is SOLID, it fit perfectly into my R8 spindle and had no issues threading in. When cutting, it’s so beefy, there is no slop or movement. Going to order new cutting blades just for the hell of it (nothing wrong with the ones I have just want back ups).

Economical
I've used it several times milling a part down to size, and have been pleasantly surprised. Would recommend it for the home shop.

Good bang for buck...
When you need one of these, you really need one. Worked and was accurate enough for the task. 4 stars for the insert durability. They are indexable so just turn em and go. Got extras and will need them.

A serious piece of equipment.
Being new to machining I do not know a good cutter from a bad cutter, they either work or they don't. However; it is obvious from the first few revolutions that this 3" cutter is a quality piece. I took .020 @ 650 rpm off of a piece of low carbon steel 3" wide...the finished product was smoother than I can get with a fly cutter. I will be buying other products as the need arises.

Update - Great Face Mill
I think there was a burr on the shank that must have worked it’s way off and now it seems perfectly fine. I looked for one and never found one but needless to say, I’ve now tried many times to recreate the issue I was having and it seems fine. I wanted to update my negative review to totally positive now.

Keyway not wide enough to install
Keyway not wide enough to install. Had to cut wider in order to use, and am sure it was the tool as it is the only one that I have ever had to cut in order to use, and it measured narrow. I chose to repair it as opposed to returning it due to time and needing it right away. It cuts very smooth once installed so I am happy with that however, with all of the others out there that do not need worked on in order to use I hope they step up with some king of explanation and possible different size endmill for my time to verify they have addressed this without having to risk my time and money again, otherwise I will not be buying anymore gambling that it will arrive useable. So far any other tools I have purchased from them have been great, so hoping this was a Friday night tooling error or something.
