Worth every penny!
I got this for after heel surgery. I figured I would mostly use it here and there and rely on my crutches. Boy was I wrong. I’m so unstable on my crutches I fell 3 times just trying to get into the house! I have been on the knee scooter ever since. Makes everything so much easier. I do recommend getting one that has a bag in front as it makes moving things around a lot easier. The knee pad itself is ok, I appreciate what it does having designed divots in it helps stabilize your knee but it does make it all a bit harder. The brakes are super responsive and sturdy. As an almost 300 pound person, I was concerned about falling off other knee scooters. Not even a concern with this. Relatively easy to assemble. Definitely practice before major use though. Takes a few tries to get comfortable with it. I got the all terrain beefier tires as I live on dirty road and it January and quite snowy. It handles rough terrain pretty well. Being bone weight bearing right now and having some pretty big tire indentations from the cars mixed with ice I was glad my husband was there to help. The turning radius it pretty good. I do have some spots where I have to drag it or work do 7 point turns. But my house is small and tight so honestly it does a great job. Never felt like I was going to fall of it. It’s larger than I thought I was hoping it could fit in a stair as I have 2 I have to get up or down to get out and in the house sadly it’s to large for this. But I do sturdy that I feel this is a good compromise. Definitely feel better using it without the worry of falling off. The handlebars fold down which made it fit in my husbands small suv well, probably would fit in a compact car. Won’t fit in a smart car (moms car). I would recommend practicing this once or twice especially if you have an inpatient husband like mine :)

Glad to have found this model! Great for plus sized users.
Very sturdy. I had a no load bearing injury and used this at max weight capacity+ for 3 months straight and it held up very well. Easy to assemble and fold for transport. The bag was also very useful. Was mostly used over concrete and carpet and was able to move with ease. I lost some of the hubcaps and valve stem covers, but those were mostly just for asthetics so no big deal. Towards the end of use i did find myself filling the tires maybe once every 2 weeks, but remember, i was using it at capacity. The price made it worthwhile since i would have paid the same for a rental. Im 5’8” and felt it may have been a little high at first, but I had gotten used to it. I do wish that maybe the seat angle could have been adjustable instead of fixed. I also bought the gel cushion, but it made it more slippery and uncomfortable for me.

Good vechile
I love it. Much more solid & stable than my rented scooter. The wheels slide over indoor thresholds without notice. I had to pick up the front part of my rented scooter at every threshold. Tighter turning radius too. I just wish I could set the knee pad half an inch lower. I am 5'4", and it can become a strain on my working foot to be extended for very long. I would not recommend this device for anyone shorter than myself. Still, well worth the purchase.

Best Scooter Hands Down
If you are looking for a knee scooter that will go over cracks in the side walk with ease, go over small rocks and through grass without the worry of the scooter stopping abruptly and flipping over the handle bars? Then this is the knee scooter you. I have a gravel sidewalk and driveway and this scooter goes over the rocks with no issue. The tires are so nice and the seat is comfortable. I'm 6'6" 260lbs and this scooter works perfectly getting around with no issues. So, if you're wanting to go down the sidewalk or take a hike on a mulch path trail in the woods, I promise you that your search is over. I spent many hours looking for a better scooter than the one I had bought from the rental company and this scooter surpassed all my expectations.

Seat is HARD as a Rock!!
Overall this is a pretty good knee scooter. PROS: Has real inflatable tires with good tread, making it good for all terrain possibilities. Has a bag on the front to hold stuff, and the seat has grooves to contour to leg both parallel and perpendicular to the seat. CONS: The main reason its getting 3 stars instead of 5 is because the seat is hard as a rock and is not comfortable to use. I am using this scooter with an air cast/boot that goes half way up my shin and the seat is so hard it causes the cast to dig into my leg. I'm 5'3" and I have the seat in the lowest possible position and it is still just slightly too high - I need it like lower 1 more inch to comfortably use it.

Knee scooter
He loves it. Very helpful after his ankle surgery to get around as needed until after his doctor checkup last week on Thursday 9th. Especially getting around in Kroger, Walmart and any long distance from parking lot. Assembly was easy. Very stable and smooth riding. Breaks works wonderfully. Easy to put in car. Appearance is great. Doctors office someone commenting his looks very sturdy and smooth riding. Assemble easy.

SAFE! Controlled turns. DO NOT saw off turn-limiting pin! This is SO much better than others.
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Good warranty, High Quality product, solid. Our other (rental) knee scooters/walkers have been difficult to control at times. This one is a delight by comparison. One great feature is the pin and limiter tabs, that keep the handlebard from going all the way to 90 degrees. It goes to about 60 which is plenty. Why is that good? If it turns directly sideways, there is NO STABILITY in front and the whole thing can topple if the user is not at full strength and balance... and this is for medical rehab, ie people not at full strength and balance ;) Our sample did come with a small paint defect (working on that) and the handlebars were not fully aligned with front axle. But a big bolt allows fixing that. Overall, this is a great purchase. Oh -- and with big inflated knobby tires, it easily goes over any (carpet/etc) floor transition indoors, and likely will be great for outdoor adventures. Will update once we've had an outdoor adventure.

Solid, reliable, comfortable and now indispensable
Absolutely fantastic product. Well designed, solid, comfortable, almost ready to use straight out of the box. Have being using crutches for the last few months, and they are hard work especially over long distances. This scooter requires much less effort, allows travel over longer distances and with reduced chance of falling. Travels easily over gravel, grass and bumpy tarmac. Folds down easily to fit into the back of a car. I would recommend this to anyone with foot, ankle or leg problems

To high if you are smaller than 5”6
This scooter is well made and feels very good quality. However, it’s quite large for indoor use. I’m 5ft 4in and even on the lowest settings, both the seat and handlebars are still too high for me. I’d say you’d need to be around 5ft 6in or taller to feel comfortable. It’s also worth noting that the tyres need pumping up before first use. The seat is fairly firm as well, so I would recommend purchasing an additional seat cushion for extra comfort. Unfortunately, due to the height, I’ve had to return it as it just wasn’t suitable for me.

I’m so confused
I read all the great reviews before I bought this scooter and I am so confused. It’s like I have bought a completely different thing?? I can see that it would be very good for in the house but the minute you get outside it’s a death trap. The first time I used it I went along a pavement that very slightly sloped to one side, I lost my balance and over I went cutting and badly bruising my knee (on the same leg I have a broken ankle!) Today (6 days after the incident) I thought I would give it another try and again just don’t understand how people are using this? It is so unsteady, the minute you go over a bump it is completely off balance and it really takes a lot of effort with your good leg to scoot. You also can’t get very far as the front wheels are in the way of your good leg?? If I could return it I would. Sadly I’ve used it so I can’t.

So much better than crutches
This knee scooter is great and really good outdoors. The big air filled tyres make it suitable and soft riding outdoors. It loses a star because the knee pad is too hard and uncomfortable, but otherwise it has been a god send instead of using crutches.

Much better than crutches
I have a broken foot and ribs. I was duschsrged from A&E with crutches and told I could not put any weight on my foot. Horrendous. This scooter has been fantastic. I can wizz round the house and go on hospital check ups without the need to use crutches which caused me a lot of pain. I think the extra knee pad is essintial - the one that comes with the scooter is very lumpy and caused me to bruise my legs but the pad makes it much better. Only other issue is that if, like me, you have large feet the knee pad needs to be set up quite high otherwise the foot gets caught in the back wheels. Otherwise excellent. Folds up tidily to go in the boot too. Well worth the money
