Multi-use Body Aligner Wedge Cushion, Blue

i ordered this and another of the best reviewed popular bed wedges and it wasn't even close. the other wedge was very very firm made of basically a solid foam w/ only a very slight give. this is made of egg crate foam as the picture shows and is very soft and at the same time supportive. it is like, "ok those two aren't even close" when you try them out. as another reviewer said it isn't the widest. i'm 6'1" 210 w/ broad shoulders that go outside the edges but that isn't a problem as your shoulders naturally curve forward at their edges and the part of my shoulders before they start curving forward is still enclosed and supported. finally, i have no idea what (other than the egg crate) that picture of the wedge is showing (it's confusing and looks like it has a sharp angle in the middle, which i does not). i wasn't even sure when i ordered it what it was going to look like when i got it. to clear that up it looks like any of the other bed wedges that you see being offered (that is a solid triangle wedge shape) but unlike the other products it has a slight "U" shape essentially built into it for the section where you would lay on / lean against (like what you'd expect the back of a race car driver's seat to have with a U shaped curve to support where your body comes into contact with it rather than a flat surface (like the floor). makes a HUGE difference as well. finally, even if you don't use this for sleeping (which i decided in the end not to use either of the wedges for sleeping) i'm still keeping this for sitting on the bed / couch watching TV, it's that comfortable

I like the comfort and support of this however, the smell of the cusion is horrible I washed the cover but it didn't help at first, it's been about a month now and I don't notice the smell as much.

I read a lot of mixed reviews about this product before I bought it. Also in the picture it showed it without a cover so I assumed I would have to buy a $15 pillow cover for it as well. Not only did it arrive quickly it also arrived with a pillow cover wHich saved me money. It looks exactly like the picture above. It is true to its discription and it is perfect size for me. Since my double bypass in 2011, I have been suffering nightly with acid reflex and need to sleep in a raised position. This pillow is the perfect height , sturdy but comfortable at the same time. Its working for me. Buy this pillow.

I've been unfortunate enough to need several surgeries the past year, thank you cancer. (I'm fine, thanks for asking.) The hardest part of any surgery is getting to sleep afterwards. When your body is cut up and muscles not functioning, getting in and out of bed can be painful, difficult or plain impossible. Afer using bed pillows to try and prop myself into the positions I need to be, I finally bought this pillow. It's perfect. It's soft enough to cradle your hurting body, but firm enough to put you in a position where you can get up and out of bed. The bend in it is very gentle, not the strong curve as in the picture. But, the small curve does seem to help keep you in position. I also love that it can be used after you recover for sitting on the couch reading or watching TV. It won't gather dust under the bed. Just turn it around and you have nice support. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is the flimsy cover that comes with it. It's not a pillow where you can easily find a case to go on it and that scratchy, cheap cover isn't soft enough. One other thing - I'm a very small, only 100 pounds. This fits me perfectly so I wonder if it would be as comfortable if you are a bigger person. My arms can stay inside it but maybe that isn't necessary? I leave it for you to decde.

I have always been a stomach sleeper. The problem was that sleeping that way exacerbated my lower back pain. No matter what I tried to prevent it, I would always flip over onto my stomach sometime at night. To get some relief, I took to sleeping on my Lazy Boy recliner in the living room. My back never felt better. After a few months, I missed my bed and found bed wedges as a possible solution. After reading all the reviews, I bought this one. It works quite well. I'm not too fond of the egg crate foam surface, so I put a thin pillow on top of it and then put my regular pillow at the top of the wedge. Very comfy. I sleep well and no longer have to start my day with a half hour session with a heating pad on my back. UPDATE: This product lasted a little over a year and a half before it crushed down too much to be effective any more. I replaced it with the Bookstone Bed Wedge Pillow Bed Wedge Pillow which is much firmer and well made (and also much more expensive). My rating was initially 5 stars, but I've gone to 2 stars because it just did not last long enough.
