Absolutely loved the Amazon echo plus (2nd gen). It has great quality and loud speakers enhancing the music experience. The other features offered by axela such as news, weather info, general knowledge questions, and many more are absolutely fantastic.If you are looking for a bluetooth speaker + smart home equipment, this product is the best investment.The bass is quite impressive and also there are options available to link your alexa with other apps like Saavn, Apple music and Spotify also providing a wider range of songs and podcasts to play from.Also, for no reason at all, in case you are bored and need someone to talk to, she (alexa) can be a good companion.

Foremost of all, this new generation product is an excellent improvement on size & quality. Alexa is good in what it does currently, but what I am not so sure is the below things :a. Still no signs of a batter included speaker module - With mobile hotspots & power disruption, it is a key feature needed.b. Bluetooth pairing only showed up media services & not call audio, this was a surprise since calling facility is being supported.The audio output is decent enough & audiophiles should look elsewhere as from a musical excellence part. This device basically gets the work done & takes away a lot of your screen-time through the voice commands. I find that as a big enabler & the senior folks would enjoy Alexa as a virtual assistant which keeps good company.I am looking forward to Amazon to do a UE Megablast equivalent product, and if that happens, I will be the 1st one to pick that up.

The installation was a bit of a harangue...particularly while trying to register it with the in-home wi-fi. The temporary Amazon wifi, which is required to be turned on while setting up the device, before connecting it to the domestic wifi, was a bit unstable....and it took quite a few attempts, before I could go past that step....after that ofcourse, it was just a breeze. This is my first Alexa or Zigbee powered device......hope to gradually grow with it. My family and I like the Alexa response. She could comprehend our halting, moody english and kept up to our frenzy of changing requests for playing a song( from Amazon Prime music album, I guess). The sound quality is quite good. Music is the default use of Echo-plus for beginners. One can literally feast on the wide variety of choice one has...... but that is just a starting point. Dig deep gradually.... enable some 3rd party apps..... connect your mobiles, etc..... keep adding some Alexa-supporting hardware like light-bulbs, for starters....and you are on your way to a voice-controlled smarter home. I have both Echo and Google Home Mini. But I feel Echo is way ahead in terms of features and support for other services. Echo has plethora of skills, almost for anything you need, as radio stations, guided meditation, booking cabs, ordering food, games, and so on. And it completely beats Google Home here. I haven't yet used smart home hub feature on it but will surely do.Sound output is phenomenal on this device. I am very passionate about my music and this speaker delivers sound quality worth the demanding price.Many people complaint that Alexa's responses are not good and they cannot have a proper conversation with it. But for people expecting this should wait atleast another decade to buy a smart home device, when Artificial intelligence reaches its peak. Because these products are designed to take commands, not to have a casual conversation.And I must say that it beautifully delivers what it was meant to be...

It's a great device which controls my entire house as most of the plugs and lights are smart so it's pretty easy to use and connect to Alexa. Before buying i always use to think that it's just a time pass device with smart capabilities. But someone has said "until you don't own you don't know what you are missing". After buying this device, it has become like a part of family. I own even google home mini but the way Alexa communicates is far better and pretty much in Indian context and accent as well. It listens from quite far from anywhere in my living room and responds to it. Sound quality is great and now on tips, just speak and there you go. Highly recommended device for making your home smart ofcourse you need supporting plugs, lights, etc and for entertainment purpose also.

Pre booked the product well in advance, but it arrived only on 14th ,though the product was released on 11th itself..If I would have bought it on 11th itself it would been delivered by 12th as stated by their delivery time on the product page. Felt cheated that despite Pre booking I received the product 3 days late.Coming to the product.. The device in itself is great and getting it at 9800/- after getting all the sweet deals in the great India festival, its a steal..I already own 2nd Gen Echo and the 3rd Gen Echo Dot but one problem that I am facing is that this Echo Plus keeps stopping while streaming songs on the multi room speaker setup, the other two devices are working as good as they can and continue with the steam without any disruption, ...so have applied for a replacement and hopefully that will work as intended.. Apart from this small hiccup the device does wonders and coupled with the smart home capabilities the Echo family Rocks.

Rated 3 stars only for the hardware. Sound is good and bass is punchy for the device size.Alexa is worthless. I mean the AI or the programming is pathetic.If she can't understand and play Shahrukh Khan songs in 1 attempt, rhen you imagine.I sing the song, I read the name, lyrics, film name and tried 5-7 combinations then it will play and that too some random songs.Played with settings and made default song player, still doesn't work correctly most of the times.Very very dissatisfied with Alexa performance. Hasn't got any update or improvements as of yet, after using for 2 years.
