Brass REDUCING HEX Bushing 3/4" Male NPT X 1/4" Female NPT Fuel/AIR/Water/Oil/Gas WOG (Qty 01)

In the early 1990's I left some Sears Craftsman rubber Garden house outside and did Not turn off the Water It was frozen but did Not bust and all I had to do Is bend the hose to get the Water flowing again so I replaced all My plumbing with Sears Craftsman rubber Garden hose It saved Me much money Not having to replace PVC pipe all the time, even though the Garden hose does Not bust until 34 below zero F and the ones that did were next to some cement blocks It was hard to get them thawed out so I covered the hose with flexible drainage pipe and use a hairdryer and heat gun together to thaw them out but I still wanted It to be easier to thaw out and I did Not want to wait so much time for the hot Water to get to Me plus flooding the place with Water before the hot Water got to Me so I thought about one of them hot Water returns but a little pricey so the answer was to use a smaller diameter hose and I have been wanting to do that for years Its just the yesterday that I finally got It done well part of It just one hose so far still have 3 to go, then I seen some Goodyear rubber Air compressor hose and thought that may be what I Am looking for but trying to get a 3/4 Inch to 1/4 Inch bushing adaptor Is a nightmare at first I thought I needed a 3/4 Inch to 3/8 Inch adaptor the hose Is 3/8 Inch but the fittings are 1/4 Inch and Ice maker fittings do Not work It has to be NPT fittings I was unable to find a direct 3/4 Inch Garden hose connector to a 1/4 Inch NPT so have to fabricate My own, I tried a boiler valve at first but they do Not work In reverse so I used a Washing machine hose then a Garden hose 3/4 Inch to 3/4 Inch NPT adaptor then a 3/4 Inch NPT coupling and this 3/4 Inch to 1/4 Inch bushing. first I tried to buy It at Home Depot but they wanted $35.00 for shipping so I tried Lowe's and all they had was plastic I bought 2 of them and were threaded wrong so It did Not work but this one worked just fine.

THE BRASS FITTING IS NOT DEEMED LEAD FREE AND SHOULD NOT BE USED ON POTABLE WATER APPLICATIONS. Completely useless product for my application.

If u are hooking up a new compressor and you are looking to have it feed 1/4 air lines this is the actual part you need that you pretty much can't find at local big box stores. This goes 3/4 to 1/4 and fits perfect.

I ordered 3/4" NTP. I received 1.0" NTP.I was still able to use it. I only had to drill the hole larger.

Had to add it to my bends I ordered the wrong size.

Works well for my application to screw in a 1/4 barb. Not sure if it requires pipe tape so I put some anyway.

Poor quality. Threads were missing in a portion. There was also foreign material in the threads.
