I've had the first rug I bought for a few months now. I wanted to hold off judgement until we had a chance to test it up against my children, husband and myself before writing this review. When it first got to my house, I was so impressed. 😯😍 Each nep is huge and thick and like it's own little towel for your feet. It did a fantastic job of getting any excess water from my husband and I after our showers with no problems. The real test would be after our son's 🚿s. They don't seem to realize that you can pat yourself dry BEFORE getting out of the 🛁.🤨 Imagine our surprise when our bathroom floor and our hallway floor was dry with no wet 👣 down our hallways leading to bedroom 🚪. Next came the wash and dry test. Washing it with our bath towels in the 🧺 was no problem, we did drying in the dryer (it says you can dry it in the dryer fully, but I'm not taking that chance) on low heat for one hour and then took it out and hung it up to dry. Finished the rest of the towels in the dryer on high heat. By the time my load of towels were dry, so was the rug. So when the rug was back on daily deals again, I bought a second one as back up for that bathroom. If they ever put a cute turquoise color on sale like that, I'll get 2 more for our other bathroom. Overall, it does stay in place easily with the bottom of the rug having the non slip backing, but keep in mind, that makes laundering a bit longer unless you don't mind that eventually breaking down and that getting all over your stuff and getting caught up in your washer and dryer, been there, done that, have the t-shirt, don't want another one. The absorption is so much better than any other rug I have found and yet I am even talking more expensive brands, this is such a soft rug, I have a condition that causes my extreme sensitivity to anything that comes in contact with my skin. Even my clothing at times, makes showering a joy, this rug, it doesn't aggravate it at all. That is worth all the money in the world to me. So if you're on the fence about wanting to buy it, I hope this helped you. Oh, my boys are 20 and 14. For reference. But they have been water 👣 their whole lives until I found this rug. 👏👏👏. There are few things I write reviews about. This is a well made product that withstands multiple years of being stepped on daily and washed fairly often. It absorbs moisture fast and the floor underneath always remains dry. It also feels incredibly soft on the feet even after years of washing. I have purchased the 32"x20" multiple times in the dark grey previously offered. I went to purchase this item again, but the currently offered "taupe brown" and "green" are very undesirable colors and not offered in 32"x20"... I would recommend this product based on my previous experience. I would without hesitation purchase again

The SONORO KATE Bathroom Rug is like a cloud for your feet, and I didn’t realize how much my toes deserved luxury until I stepped on this beauty! Seriously, this rug is the VIP lounge of bathroom floors—soft, plush, and it somehow stays dry even after a shower that could rival Niagara Falls. I used to dread those first cold steps out of the shower, but now? Now I practically prance onto this rug, knowing my feet are about to be swaddled in the softest fabric known to man. And let’s talk about the size—32 inches of pure bliss! It’s big enough to do a full foot shimmy, and let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a good post-shower shimmy? Plus, it’s got some sort of magical grip that keeps it from sliding all over the place. So not only does it feel like heaven, but it’s also not trying to take me out like a cartoon banana peel. A+ for safety! In conclusion, if you want to elevate your bathroom experience from “meh” to “OMG, I live in a spa now,” do yourself a favor and get this rug. Your feet will thank you, your bathroom will look fabulous, and you might even find yourself looking forward to the moment you step out of the shower. EDIT: After over a year, I'm lowering my original rating from 5 stars to 4. While I stand by everything I said in terms of comfort/absorption/etc, at some point this thing developed an annoying odor issue. It starts smelling bad fairly quickly, no matter how careful we try to be and regardless of what chemicals we use to wash it. It now requires increasingly-frequent cleanings, but the odor always returns pretty quickly. I don't exactly expect bath mats to smell *good*, but I've never had this problem before, and it's quite annoying to deal with. I can still recommend the mat overall though but I'm no longer as enthused as I was when I first got it. On a more positive note, we've put it in our washing machine several times, and we've still had no issues with it sliding around at all. It's just as non-slip as it was when we first got it. ORIGINAL REVIEW: When purchasing a new bath mat I was looking for a few specific things, in order to address the issues I've had with previous ones I've owned - I needed it to be comfortable, non-slip, absorbent, and (as a bonus) not super pet fur-attracting. This mat checks off all of those boxes, and at a very solid price, to boot. This thing does not slide around at all, it's great. I haven't washed it in a machine, which I'm sure might affect that over time, but it hand washes easily so that isn't an issue for me. It's super soft and, yes, absorbs water with ease. And, yup, no pet fur! That hasn't been an issue at all. My previous bath mat (which was made of similar material) was pretty much covered in pet fur and it just wouldn't come off, even with a vacuum. This one doesn't have that problem at all, which is such a nice little upgrade. I highly recommend this.

Very soft and absorbent

I purchased two rugs exactly 2 years ago and am posting this review and pictures because after countless machine washing and daily use they look the same as the first day I used them. This rug is soft to the touch and lays flat. It has never shed or changed in any way including the rubber backing. I highly recommend this!!!

Well ... I guess my expectations were a bit too high ... I have another chenile bath mat purchased here that's really nice .. but I read all of the positive reviews of the Sonoro Kate and decided to also order this one ... while the rubber underlining looks identical to my first rug, the Sonoro Kate is definitely not the same ... the slightest touch will move and slide the rug on the floor ... absolutely not unslippable ... Having said all that ... the rug is soft and comfortable ... the color is exactly as pictured ... and I must say that when I expressed my concern about the slip resistance issue , Sonoro Kate customer service reached out to me and went over and above everything that I expected to make me happy with my purchase ... that service alone prompts me to leave this review and recommend the product ...
