This ventilation ducting does exactly what it's supposed to. The material feels durable and flexible, making it much easier to route around awkward corners and tight spaces than rigid ducting. I found it straightforward to install, and the included pipe clamps were a useful addition. Once everything was tightened up, the duct stayed securely in place without any issues. The built-in wire support helps it keep its shape while still allowing you to bend it where needed. That made it much easier to connect to my existing ventilation setup without having to force it into position. The length was more than enough for my installation, and it can easily be shortened if you don't need the full five metres. It's also reassuring that it's suitable for a range of jobs, whether that's an extractor fan, tumble dryer or other ventilation system. The only thing I'd mention is that the duct is slightly larger than a standard 150mm connection, which is intentional to make fitting easier. It wasn't a problem for me, but using the supplied clamps properly is important to get a secure seal. What I liked most was how easy it was to work with. It bends without collapsing and feels much sturdier than some cheaper ducting I've used in the past. If you need flexible 150mm ventilation ducting, this is a good option. It's well made, simple to fit and suitable for a wide range of ventilation projects around the home.

Ordered the longer hose however the whole pipe was hot and acting like a radiator and not cooling the room as well [1400BTU] saying this is cut it down using only slightly more than was needed and within minutes the pipe was cool and aircon was working spot on ,Pipe is not thick as my original but did the job being thinner it was easy to push onto the unit mounting. Summery :- good buy for money but cut down to only what you need if using as an aircon extender .

Does what it's supposed to do and appears to be of much better quality than the one it's replacing

Advertised itself as 150mm which, first of all, it is not and was therefore unfit for use. But the worst part is that despite being quite literally pictured as being used for a portable air conditioner pipe, when used in this manner it was woefully lacklustre. The pipe offered no insulation or heat carrying properties when put to use as an air-conditioning duct, simply radiating all the heat back into the room through the flimsy pipe. After just one use it was warped and stretched. We gave it another go, reducing the length of the pipe by keeping it closer to the window, with no change in performance. The pipe continued to warp and stretch and eventually split from the heat, leaving exposed coiled metal hanging out that was hot to the touch. When trying to pack the pipe safely away, the snaking and concertina-ing of the pipe lead to the exposed coil shearing, meaning we had two sharp points of wire to content with. I would give 0 if I could.

The product worked. I used it as a venting hose. I had to cut the original hose, each time it failed. It was no longer 1.5 m but less than a Meter. It was overstretched, hence the replacement. It worked well, unfortunately the AC unit didn't last.

The hose is nice, malleable and with a good length. However if you're using it to extend your portable AC exhaust, don't. It gets extremely hot from the exhaust, which defeats the purpose of having an AC cooling the room while there's a massive hose emanating heat. It's a pity because the quality is quite nice, it's just not fit for this purpose.
