Lightspeed Outdoors Sandy Sleeper Pop Up Beach Tent Sun Shelter

We got this to take to swim meets. It did arrive and it smelled a little funny, like mildew, so we were worried it was going to smell like that or it had gotten wet during shipping. Super quick to set up-- literally just pull the cord and you are all set up. It now only takes us about 25 seconds to set up the tent, put our stuff inside. Taking it down is super fast too!! Wraps up quickly. Set up and take down and wrapping up all takes less than two minutes total! Super happy about it. Holds up to wind if there is weight inside and it is staked out. Highly recommended.Two adults fit inside in chairs comfortably.

This is a great tent! Easy to put up and take down. Super versatility and perfect for configuring to account for wind and sun.

Received this tent with great enthusiasm in preparation for taking two infants (3 months and 8 months to the beach). It worked perfectly for what we intended it-- shade and a nap spot! We were so relieved and glad to have chosen this one because it was SO easy to setup. Especially with little ones.. It could be set up in seconds by one person while the other held the baby.We were very disappointed when we found a hole in the carrying bag right out of the box but decided it was too late to return it as we were leaving for the beach shortly after receiving it. And it was just a hold in the bag.. No big deal, right? But we were even further disappointed when we discovered a hole on the tent floor our third day using it. It wouldn't have been a shock to find that if we'd used the tent on cement or rocky ground... But we only used it on sand-- the white sand of the Florida panhandle which is fine (not full of shells). To top it all off, the strap on the carrying case broke our last (fifth) day using it.We got many compliments on the tent and referred plenty of people to it! But given that it might not hold up enough for us to use it again at the end of the summer or even next summer, I'm not sure if I would recommend it to others.Would've been 5 stars without all the issues!Would've been 4 stars had this been next summer.. But three issues the very first times using it was such a let down!

I do like the tent and it is very easy to set up. It does get affected in a breeze. The window flaps need a better way to hold them up. Overall it could be better. The thinness is a concern as well. I do not feel it will last very long.Update: One of the tent clevis' on the arm supports broke and the whole tent is worthless. The part snapped and seemed brittle. We only used the tent a handful of times. It is a simple part that if they company had parts, but they do not may have been repaired. I compared this tent to earlier tents that were made by Lightspeed and you can see the thinness of these parts and how they were made with less material and cheaper. I would say this tent is too fragile for everyday use and would stay away from this company since they do not stand behind their products in the long term.

I like the easy setup this tent offers. We used a couple times and the top plastic pieces have broken. These need to be made of metal instead of plastic. This isn't a cheap tent either when you can get a larger Coleman tent that is more heavy duty cheaper. I like the tent very much but thought it should last a few seasons but instead just a few uses.

Works as advertised. Easy up, easy down. Good size. Fair price. Used 5 days in a row at beaches on Cape Cod, no problems at all.Have owned other non-pop up tents. I will not go back

It's a great tent and Lightspeed stands behind their products - mine broke on second use due to wind flipping it over when itwas drying out. They replaced without question. It has many features they don't discuss....There is a pocket inside at top of tent - great for phones, speakers, and keeping stuff off the ground. The pockets workand the shades and total closure with the front zipping up is great... Also the front 'door' doubles as a beach patio covering for sitting on.Color is cool too.

Awesome in every way. Sets up and takes down in literally 3 seconds. Durable and has every feature we wanted in a beach tent. We could not be happier with this purchase. It also shipped quickly. We really shopped around and found this to be a great value.
