greatgreatgreat
beautifully done film. Christopher plummer brings his usual magic and becomes a character to watch. I am beginning to think michelle Williams can do anything. Charlie plummer is a young actor that can go far with his acting. romain duris, if you haven't seen him before, is fantastic. there are no 'lesser' character actors here, but only great ones. to think because of the kevin spacey problem this film had to be recast and reshot and have come up with such a riveting film.....an extremely well-done thriller....we only have ridley scott to dare and do it and he did it magnificently. this is watchable and re-watchable. enjoy.

Dissapointing
Few complaints I have about this movie: Mark Wahlberg's part was just flat and dull especially in contrast to Michelle Williams who really studied her part by using a midwestern accent and even posture. Her acting in this film is reminiscent of My Week with Marilyn. The scenes were very jumpy and shot dark especially when in Getty's house. The storyline seemed very scattered.Like most high budget movies of today, it seems like the goal here was to appeal to a Global audience by including scenes shot in Italy and the Middle East in addition to Getty's mansion.I was truly disgusted by the one scene where the mafia is torturing the little boy. Won't go into more spoiler alerts than that except to say it was unnecessarily graphic. The cohesion of the film just seemed inconsistent. What were they trying to achieve? An action film?Ridley Scott tends to do more action fare so I guess that is why the movie went in that direction. I just am very much a fan of Getty having visited his gorgeous museum in the hills of Malibu and this was just a let down.Recently, I reviewed Ridley Scott's direction of Pillars of the Earth and gave it excellent feedback. It's amazing how one director can vary so much from film to film. Also interesting to note is scenes were reshot as someone else mentioned because Kevin Spacey stepped down from the role in light of scandal. Christopher Plummer did a great job as Getty. I don't think Spacey would have been the best choice for the role.

10/10, 5 stars, amazing. Well done to all involved! All the Money in the World is definitely not one to miss!
I. Love. This. Film. I saw it in theaters in December (on opening day--the 25th!) and it was so good. Charlie Plummer is a standout actor, his performance was breathtaking! Christopher Plummer did a marvelous job, as did Michelle Williams! I loved this movie so much I just HAD to own it!Please see it if you haven't already--and watch Trust on FX too if you just can't get enough of the Getty story!
