ZIZON 54 Pin Apim Connector Sync 1 Ford Camera Input Harness Cable with RCA Connector for Camera Extension on SYNC 2 or SYNC 3 for Ford Wiring Harness 14 Inches

I was wanting to add a reverse camera to my 2020 ford tourneo custom through the 8" sync 3 touchscreen. I researched the parts I needed and was told I needed to buy this kit on other sites priced £299plus delivery. I then was surfing through amazon looking to see if I could get it cheaper and I found this part by accident all you need is an aftermarket reverse camera (about £10) and this part and forscan to activate it all for about 45 pounds and install it yourself. there is a video on youtube to show you how

Purchased this to upgrade my sync 1 system to sync 2. Removed the 30 or so leads not required and moved the required pins for the conversion. Makes upgrading so much easier although the lead could do to be longer but then that is not the purpose it's sold for.Tip 1 - to remove the outer shield on the female end use a tiny screwdriver to slightly bend up the outer casing and then use another tiny screwdriver to ease it over the two small securing lugs.Tip 2 - to remove the female pins I used a hair grip (remove the small plastics ends) and grind it down on two sides so it fits the slot either just above or just below the pin you want to remove. There is a small securing peg on the pin which you will push down when inserting the hair grip. The pin can then be removed.Tip 3 - to remove the male pin use the other end of the hair grip (this is the one not ground down) and remove the pin by the same method.Tip 4 - to re-insert the pins just prize out the small metal tab and push the pin home.

This works a treat, Works perfectly with the Camera purchased (also from amazon) Don't be fooled into buying "UK Installation Kits" for £300 they are the same.This wired in to my sync 2 head unit and the camera i purchased from amazon were installed and activated within a few hours (ODB2 & Laptop with forscan installed) 1 click and 30seconds to activate. look on YouTube its the best advice I can give

The harness is easy to install, once you have worked out how to access the touchscreen in the dashboard. The You Tube videos are helpful. The car needs reprogramming using Forscan and a suitable OBD adapter, I used an ELS27unit from Ebay which worked well and was cheap.Fitting the wires for my Ford Kuga was quite tricky, but again there are videos on YouTube showing how to thread them through the tailgate. For the Kuga, there are cameras available that fit in the number plate light, which saves having to drill holes in the tailgate.

Incorrect description all wires are pass through so you will have to either swap or remove wires depending on what your using it for but very well made and works fine.

If you know what you're doing with the program you need in addition to this cable, works beautifully. Fitted them on mondeo 2018, focus 2017, 2019, custom 2019, fiesta 2017, 2018, 2019 and they work perfect.

I put this cable, and now I have rear view camera on my Ford Focus 2017.Very easy to install, I succeeded for my self in 3 hours with camera and APIM config...Only regrets is that seller choose for the final delivery Romanian Post and for this it arrived in 8 working days. But still 5 stars.

Used this loom on my Pre-Facelift focus ST that came with Sync 1.Swapped the pins around on the loom and fitted Sync 2. I now have a nice touch screen and navigation!Best part, it's all OEM and not aftermarket.
