SeaKlear AquaPill - WinterPill 2 ¾

I used the AquaPill this past season and was really impressed with how well it worked. Closing the pool in October is always a bit of a chore, but this part was simple, you just drop the pill in and let it do its thing. No fuss, no complicated steps, which I appreciated. I closed down our pool yesterday. Went through all the work of draining and removing all steps and equipment, got the pool cover stretched out over it and was ready to go. Went to retrieve my Amazon package with this item in it only to find that it was leaking all inside the package. I had to go ahead and put it in the poo as I was ready to strap the cover and call it done. Upon further inspection the cap where the fluid is supposed to come out was cracked. All of the fluid may be out by now, I'm sure it won't time release as it is supposed to. I was excited to use this product for all the rave reviews, but am disappointed that it may not last all winter. Only time will tell - I wish I would have had time to exchange but I was already to far in the pool closing process. :( 5/6/23 Update: Just opened the pool. Clear as a bell!! Did what it was supposed to do! Will purchase again.

I was surprised to find this one smaller than in the past. The last time I ordered one of these it was the size of a softball. This one was the size of a baseball. It still claims to treat the same amount of water (~15,000 gallons). I will update my review in the spring when I know if it was as effective as last time.

Perfcet for closing pool. We have been suing this for years now when we close our pool. It saves money, easy to use. The pool water is clear when we open the pool in the Spring. It is a great product.

We have used these pills for the past three years closing the pool and it is awesome. I will say that the size has gotten smaller....not sure why but the pool stays impressively clear upon opening again in the summer regardless. Its definitely a repeat purchase every year. Overall I am happy with it.

In early October I over chlorinated our 10,000 gallon above ground pool, threw this Pill Pool, and then winterized and covered it. Here we are 7+ months later. I took the cover off, and the water is clear and nice with just a touch too high chlorine. Honestly, the chems are close enough that I could have gone swimming immediately after removing the cover. 100% chance I will buy this again this fall, but I probably won't over chlorinate my pool too much this time as the pill seemed to handle it just fine.

It definitely made a difference in our spring opening. I also used the spring one and the water was crystal clear with no need to balance the chemicals as they were already perfect
