This Barbie is a lovely addition to the World of Barbie. She does a great job of representing autistic people universally. I hope Mattel continues their line of handicap dolls perhaps even including more Kens.

I wish she had more points of articulation, (her knees don't bend.) But especially for the price point, she's lovely. Great inclusive concept.

My 12 year old daughter with ASD isn’t the type of kid to play with Barbie, she loves stuffed animals and drawing comics. But when I saw this on sale, I thought I would take the risk and spend $5 to show her a doll that represents her. To my surprise, she LOVED it. She snatched it out of my hands, the headphones sold her (my daughter always has headphones on) and she held it and hugged it. She looked it over and just said “thank you dad, I love it, she had headphones just like me” it now sits unopened on display next to her bed.Thank you Mattel for making my daughter feel like she belongs.It’s a great doll, she has a tablet for speech, a fidget spinner, and her headphones. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s a great value and I couldn’t be more pleased.

She's so cute! And with her talking board she represents a wide variety of support needs too! I'm able to talk and in fact some people say it's really hard to shut me up, especially on my favourite subjects like thylacines, Transformers, Star Trek and doll collecting <3. And I managed to work in a bureaucratic hospital research environment for 30 years before I had to retire.But this girlie needs more support than me and that's very cool. We often overlook what autistic people with high support needs can contribute to society. I'm glad this doll exists and even though lately I have been more into collecting my little robot pals than expanding my doll collection--I love fashion dolls from around the world, not just Barbie but also Jenny (Japan), Sindy (Europe), Licca (Japan), anime fashion dolls, and Fulla and friends from the Middle East (they are SO cute--and while they come with hijabs to wear outdoors they can swap indoor fashionable clothing with Barbie, Jenny and Sindy (Licca is a younger girl who is more of a Skipper size than Barbie). Anyhow, this girlie hasn't been fully deboxed yet, but she's sure to fit right into my collection of Geek Barbies (astronauts, computer engineers, game developers, lab workers, NASA scientist Katherine Johnson --so pretty! and Mr Spock and Lt Uhura, because most of us autistic kids of all ages (I'm 61) love STEM and science fiction and fantasy.

Great price point. My son is autistic and he bought it for his girlfriend. They are both nonverbal and both use AAC devices. Very cute thoughtful gift. Typical Barbie quality. However, I found the price to be fantastic. Unique and inclusive.

I like this doll's face. It has personality. Her dress is very nice. The fidget spinner is adorable. My only complaint is that her legs don't bend. However i'm using her as is.When I bought her, she was eleven dollars. Well worth her price. The headphones are very detailed, but not painted. I don't really use her tablet/ ipad.

Thankfully the doll itself was okay, and she is exactly as described. Good thing I wasn't planning on keeping her in the box, and that she was for me and not intended as a gift. Sent in a non-padded paper envelope and arrived crushed.
