Great cook book! Especially if you like Ted!

I have been cooking all kinds of wild game for 30 years. I have been failing at white tail venison no matter how hard I tried, no matter whose cookbook I used and wasted more venison than I can say and finally gave up. The guys pan fried their bucks.Then after meeting "Uncle Ted" one day in our local Wal-Mart, and we had rippin'good time in man-land. I was inspired to try again...I watched Spirit of the Wild a few thousand times. I watched his tips, and then bought the cookbook. My first try was such a huge success, I was so praised by the hubby that I felt like a grand champion ! I rated the recipe and wrote down comments in the margin for tweaking it for the next time, and then my second try was a marinade and these are ones that The Man usually really hates. He had his first bite and was off to the races with nearly the whole platter! I am telling you , if you buy this cookbook, more reasonably priced than others I have seen, you are fixed for life and will have the happiest bunch of people to feed than you have ever had. The trick is, these recipes are so easy with very little added to the them, nothing Frenchy or anything you can't pronounce. You can make it all and you already have all the ingredients in your kitchen. It's down to earth, and it's so easy on you so you will have energy to enjoythe meal with everyone. I leave it out on my butcher block, recipes rates and pages full of comments by The Man, and all is finally well after 30 years of hunting in my household.Thank you, Uncle Ted!

Several people were already trying to take my book, finally gave it to my son in law. Will have to buy another.

We have used many of the recipes in this book and each one has been delicious. If you eat wild game, this is the book for you!

I choose this book because of the author. He has always inspired me as a youngster and even more so as an adult. His beliefs and his hunting stories amaze me. I am also a hunter and love to cook and prepare all the game I harvest. This book is a great mix of stories and recipes. I have yet to enjoy any of the recipes but look forward to preparing many of them. I would do anything to be able to go on a hunt with this man and his family. His energy comes through this book in such a manner that it inspires me to be a better cook, hunter and husband. It would be a dream to go on an adventure with his family and do as the title implies . . . Kill it and Grill it!

Written by Ted Nugent and Shemane Nugent. That fact by it self is just cause to buy this book, plus if you hunt it never hurts to have additional recipes.

As my husband loves to hunt wild game, I bought this book for him as a farce. However, it has turned out to be a great purchase. I was at a loss as how to clean and cook wild game until "Kill It and Grill It" came along. This is the only cookbook I've bought that my husband hasn't complained about and it's an entertaining and "colorful" read as well.

You want to know how to cook a wild boar on your BBQ...? Or which parts of a bear are the best to keep for yourself and which bits you can give away to appreciative friends...?? And you want it all in a book written by a real life guitar-hero...??? Look no further...!!!!

There are a lot of good recipes for cooking game. It is very anecdotal with hunting stories that were interesting,. There was very little information about how to prepare the game for grilling once you had caught it.

Excellent book. Uncle Ted is the best

Ted Nugent knows his stuff. Kill it and grill it! What more you can say. This is the real way man should have his meal. By hunting. Book greatly written and it is full of tasty recipes. My favorit is venison stroganoff. Ted Nugent is a hunter, patriot and a stand up guy with positive attitude. We really need people like this in these dark times of communism.

Bei dem Buch handelt es sich eigentlich um ein Buch für den klassischen, US-Amerikanischen Jäger.Es ist teilweise recht amüsant geschrieben aber ob das alles auch wirklich für Europäer anwendbar ist???Ich glaube, dass nur wenige von Uns Interesse an einem Eichhörncheneintopf haben.Aber es ist trotz allem unterhaltsam.
