Lots of work to put together, but sooo worth it
I'm not going to lie, it was a lot to put together. But it was packaged so well and carefully, and made so well that it was worth the effort. I have kids ranging from 6-10 and the size is perfect. Great for adults, just a tad tall for my younger one, who is still able to play, just can't see as well as the adults can. Seems to be the perfect balance of cost/value. It's not cheap, and it's not made cheap. But it's not ridiculous either and yet I feel like this will be our main playroom/game room attraction for years to come as the kids have their friends and parents over.

Solid table - quality parts
Just built this table on my own without any help. Heavy and sturdy. Solid components. I like it. I’m not sure the exact weight. Maybe close to 150 lbs.Even though exterior of box looked little damaged could tell care was taken to pack and was packaged well. I dragged it around my house to backyard and basement on my own cause wanted to surprise kids. I did not damage it with dragging.I got the Allendale set which I like. Players just screw on by hand around/through the rod. Nothing complicated that people have commented on with other sets.Took a leisurely 2-3 hours to build. Can probably get done in 1 hour with help if you’re on a mission. If I had to build it again for a friend, I could probably rebuild now on my own in an hour. They include wrench though I used socket wrench which made tightening bolts much quicker. And power screwdriver (nothing too powerful needed, I had cheap black and decker power screwdriver) makes things faster. Instructions were pretty clear. I didn’t have to do things differently or make modifications. I just made sure to put screws for game handles on bottom which was nice. Also, each component items are all labeled for easy to follow assembly.Make sure you assemble it in room you plan on using it in.Step 1: Put 2 legs together. (Wrench)Step 2: Connect front and back legs with long rod.Step 3: put legs on bottom of table and secure together (wrench)Step 4: carry and flip table (I did this alone) but if you’re less than 6 ft and 200 lbs better to do with help.Step 5: put rods on in correct order (look at instruction picture) with rubber stops and remember goalie location is to left side of player.Step 6: put players on (done by hand no tools), faster with two people.Step 7: put handles on (screwdriver/power faster)—I put screw on bottom so looks cleaner.Step 8: add scoring tally on (power screwdriver for 2 screws each side)Step 9: add ball release (power screwdriver 1 screw each side)Felt this Foosball table not cheap. But not too crazy expensive for the quality you’re getting. Solid and should last.... I hope. :)

Overrated
Barrington Billiards 58” Irvine Foosball TableI haven’t completely assembled it yet, but I’ve had TONS of headaches!Firstly, this table is NOT wood; it’s completely made out of pressboard (essentially compressed paper) and it has a cladding on it for the finish. My playing surface and a few other pieces were warped, and the cladding on a few corners was damaged or the cladding was lifting so I’ve had to glue and clamp each place until the glue had cured/set. Me, being the OCD person that I am, haven’t been able to get to turning the table over yet because of all the repairs I’ve had to make (you start building it upside down). The legs are glued together to form the tube and I’ve had to glue multiple edges and with all the warped/bowed pieces, it has taken me more than 5 hours so far (waiting for the glue to cure mostly). Visually, it is quite appealing if you don’t mind corners and adjoining pieces that don’t line up due to warping. When I unpacked it, my immediate instinct was to return it, but it is impossible to unpack without destroying the box; my box wasn’t in good shape at all - probably from the handling because it’s quite heavy for one person and I had to help the little driver that delivered it.There are plenty of plastic parts (men, score counters, trim pieces, etc.) but my biggest concern is that I don’t know how long this table will last(?).I can’t in good conscience recommend this table for the long term because the materials (compressed paper boards) are not very sturdy(?) and I fully expect problems like screws stripping out of the paper board with any sort of robust play. I’m REALLY not feeling good about this purchase at all and I already wish I could return it!?

false product
I was very, very dissapointed.Product was falsely advertized. It was advertized as a wood foosball table but it was not real wood.It was build with Mechanical manufactured wood. That information was withheld, which is false advertizing,or withholding the true information.klaas

Worst purchase
The worst purchase ever specially when you pay almost 1000 usd, after I put the table together that tooks me 6 hours, you will notice scratches on the table, the hole where you threw the ball can not be fixed with neil. the glue for the table surface took off before we start playing. After one game the players paint takes off. I contacted the customer service the same day to see what my options but no help. Please note that this is a very heavy item that you can imagine so you need to cut all boxes to take it out which mean you can not return it on the same status its came with. Please go for 400 usd and avoid this one and save money. Horrible experience with customer service who hang up the phone because he has nothing to help with. And the worst is the phone for the company in Amazon profile is not correct that is mean you just lost 1000 dollars.
