Columbia Sportswear Men's Silver Ridge Short Sleeve Shirt

Pros: Great fit, not too tight or too loose. I am 5'10" 193lbs 34/35" waist and got the large. Great length. I don't tuck these in, and shirt doesn't fall too far down below belt level. Fast drying material. Material is on the thin side, which is great. Not a fan of heavier fabrics that are moisture wicking. Easily washed in the sink - dried over night. I tested this several times! Wash and dry, put on a hanger. No need to iron. Very comfortable. Cons: Small Velcro patch for pockets. Pockets are sewn on one side - hard to get stuff in and out of them. I don't use the pockets. Collar seems a bit too small, but it's ok. Doesn't roll up. Overall, great shirt. Bought a couple of colors and will get a couple more when the price is right. Wore several shirts to a week long vacation at Disney World. They held up great against the heat, and I never worried when it rained because I knew the shirt would quickly dry.

I've been in love with Columbia Sportswear shirts ever since someone gave me one as a gift several years ago. The only bummer is that they are pretty expensive, so I rarely buy them. Instead I put them on my Amazon Wishlist and encourage people to buy them as gifts for me :) They are super comfortable, and breathe nicely. I'm 5' 10" and weigh 220 lbs, so am not used to clothes looking good on me, but the XX size of these shirts fit me perfectly, and I get a lot of "you look nice" type compliments when I'm wearing them. I don't iron, and I'm happy to report that these shirt don't really need it. The collars and pockets all keep their shape through multiple washings/dryings. Can't things of any negatives aside from them being a bit spendy.

Overall I'm very happy with this shirt - I bought another just to have when the first one wears out. Columbia seems to discontinue clothes rapidly, so now I buy extra of ones I like. PRO: . Very good-looking and good-fitting. Cut is handsome and not baggy (I'm 6'1" and 185lbs and wear the Large). . Has vents but they are discreet; I wouldn't wear most Columbia hiking shirts around town, but this one I do. . Hiked 10 miles in 90-degree heat, and the shirt darkened with sweat but dried within a few minutes of stopping. . The Peat Moss color is great! . A STEAL at this price. CON: . The inside of the shirt is a softer lining that feels good, but pilled on my first wearing! The belt on my matching Columbia shorts was made of stiff nylon, and severely abraded the lining. This left permanent wrinkles and stretch marks in the shirt at belt level. It's not too bad, but I will only wear that shirt camping now. . The Nocturnal color is very lavender in person, not dark blue. Not masculine in my opinion. Will be returning it.

Runs a size too small. I did not try on the shirt upon delivery, and it is uncomfortably too small. I discovered the issue while traveling out of the country a month later. It is a nice looking shirt and would have been great for extremely hot weather.

love this shirt, it has it all! Sporty and casual with a bit of style- dress it up or down. Was looking for something lightweight for the summer that I could wear to summer bbqs and not have unsightly sweat marks in (live in the south), and something that I could travel in and still look professional. This shirt was definitely it- fits great, lightweight, dries quickly, and definitely recommend to others!

This is a great shirt, with the same quality fabric like the other Columbia shirts I have in long sleeve (Tamiani II, Bahama). The only issue is that the Silver Ridge is one size too small - my Tamiani and Bahama long sleeves are XL and a little large (perfect fit for Florida), while this XXL is a true fit for me (not a little large like the others, but will definitely do). Probably the reason that the price is so good (offered at 1/2 off the shirt tag price of $50).

A great, lightweight durable shirt. I've owned several of these shirts and they are great for hotter climates. I first discovered these while working in the Middle East and they are great for staying cool and dry (wicking technology). Highly recommended if you are working outdoors in high temperature climates. These also are easy to wash and dry.

Really, really nice Columbia shirt, and I have a closet full of them. Great fabric, cut and details, a little more "formal" than the Tamiami or Bahama shirts. WARNING... I should have heeded all the warnings about being "a bit snug", "cut a little smaller" etc.!! I'm 6' 2" and 200lbs, and almost always wear an XL Columbia shirt - SO HEED THE WARNING... and SIZE UP one size, from whatever you normally wear.

Ich habe meine ganzen Oberhemden auf diese Art Hemden umgestellt. Ich bin sehr zufrieden vom Tragekomfort, Reinigung, Trocknung etc.. Ich werde sicher immer wieder welche von der Sorte kaufen.

Camicia di Columbia, quindi la qualità dei materiali e della fattura è impeccabile. Il colore è proprio quello della foto, questo blu elettrico molto particolare e bello da vedere. Sono alto 1,77 per 63kg e non metto cinque stelle per il fatto che al solito le dimensioni sono sempre sballate: generalmente indosso SMALL, ma veste come una M. Dovrebbero rivedere le taglie in Columbia, perchè non è il primo capo che acquisto con taglie molto più grandi. Un conto è fare prodotti che vestano comodi, e un altro è fare prodotti che a mio avviso sono decisamente più grandi della giusta taglia.
