Sadly, I have to agree with the last review I just read about Happy Howie's Woof Stix. I've ordered these about 4 times now. It started out well, but the time before this last order, one of the two packs in the box was visibly older (different duller brown color rather than the red-leaning fresher color) than the other and the sticks were so hard they snapped right off. You have to work a little harder to snap them apart when then are fresh. I didn't think it would make that much difference to my yorkie, but after a few days of these "older" sticks, she started to experience some very loose stool - so they were obviously upsetting her digestive system and weren't good for her. (she was fine eating the stix from previous orders & she eats the same amount each day) I quickly discarded the rest of that older pack (half of the entire package) & gave her the newer fresher stix. Her stool issues went away. Upon receiving my latest order, I once again noticed the stix in the first bag were hard and easily snapped apart - suggesting they were old and stale.. The color was not as bad as that previous order; however - once again - after a few days of stix - my yorkie's loose stool problem has returned. I am very upset and very disappointed with the degraded quality of the product that was delivered to me the LAST 2 times I've ordered. I'm about ready to find a new treat for my dog - and she LOVES these things. What a shame - I was ordering a box about every 2 months...

I have 2 ancient Yorkies and a really old Dachshund, all of which their "woof stix" is the highlight of their day. The dogs are short on teeth so these are chewy yet not so hard they can't eat them.

I just received my 7th order and I am not sure what has happened. I was suppose to have received two packs 45 total pieces, however I only received one pack 22 total pieces. I was shorted half my order.

My dog loves these Happy Howie’s beef sticks and my dog is no exception! My dog drives me nuts with his tapping of his treat jar for another one.
