Good product, good price!
**Update** While I still like this product in theory, there is a big problem. With time, this product begins to fail. My pouch has no obvious damage to it, but the car door opens automatically when the fob is still in the protective metal area of the pouch. One time I even had it in my pocket within the pouch, and was able to start the car! Needless to say that was a little concerning and I thought maybe it was a fluke. But there are other members of the family that also have this pouch. Theirs also have failed with time. I still think it's a good product but with a caveat. You will have to test it frequently. As an added safeguard, instead of hanging up our keys in the pouch, we put the keys in the pouch iand into a metal box. At least this way there is a certain degree of protection. I would say it's a good product BUT it must tested frequently and be prepared to replace it. But definitely it does work for a while. At the moment, I'm not too worried about someone taking the car. The worry is that someone will try to steal the catalytic converter. That seems to be happening in our area at the moment. -------------------------------------------------- Wow, I had no idea how easy it is for a tag team of thieves to steal a car! I saw a newscast that was reporting on "relay attacks" on vehicles. All you have to do is Google it. Apparently cars that have a start button instead of a key. The fobs constantly send a signal, or a ping in search of their matched vehicle. Auto thieves can scan the signal with their own electronic device, and just walk into your car and drive off. No key needed, just a digital signal! I ordered a pack of two Faraday pouches. The pouch works perfectly. I tested it to make sure that it worked. First, I walked up to the car. Normally the car will unlock if you are within a few feet of it. The car did not detect the fob while it was tucked away in the pouch. Next, I unlocked the car and sat in the driver's seat. I placed the fob back into the pouch. I hit the on button to start the car. Again, the car could not detect the fob and wouldn't start until I took it out of the pouch. I am very happy with the pouch. If you buy this product, please be aware that the pouch comes with two pockets. It is very important to note, you have to use the back pocket that is lined with a gold colored fabric. That fabric is what protects the signal from leaving the pouch. The first pocket is for small things like coins. It doesn't block signals. Only the back pocket does. The only thing I could be concerned about with this product is that it closes with velcro. At some point the velcro will wear out from overuse. Maybe use a binder clip to keep it closed if that happens. For the life of me I still do not understand why automakers came up with this idea of a keyless ignition. I guess I'm old school. I prefer keys over fobs. I guess times change & this appears to be the latest fad. Until auto makers use some common sense to either go back to a real key, or include an on-off switch on the fobs, this is a great product that can help deter an expensive theft. I totally recommend it.

Ticonn faraday bags for key fobs
These work great, when I put the fob where it was supposed to go for protection. lol . They are sturdy and look nice, the Velcro is better than the fold over and put under strap. Very nice, I like them

Test it before you assume
Works as it should BUT the item needs to be placed in the sleeve toward the back of the bag and not the front pocket. The bag is ineffective at blocking if the item is not placed properly. The pictures are deceiving and I am glad I tested it before assuming my fob would be protected. Also, though I got the large size it is a bit tight fitting for a standard size fob.

This is a very good, durable Faraday bag to protect your key FOB!
My wife and I both have key start cars with fobs. We bought two sets of these key case pouches -- 4 key cases total. We keep two in the house to store our fobs in so that someone can't pick up the signal through the walls. We also keep one key case in the door accessory shelf of each car. As soon as we park the car somewhere and lock the car, we slip the fob into the case and drop it either in our pocket or purse. When we are approaching the car, as we come close we pull the fob out of the key case, open the door, put the empty key case back in its place in the door, and drive off. When we get back to the house, the fob goes back into it's key case stored in the house. This way you are protected both at home and traveling. The little snap clip that comes with it is just an extra "doo-dad" they stick on there, which probably should be left off. I wouldn't recommend carrying the key case in a belt loop anyway, as it would not be very secure and could easily be ripped off. For those car thieves who are lurking out there in parking lots near you with special amplifying signal equipment to pick up your fob code and then drive away with your car after you leave, purchasing these Faraday pouches to contain the signal from getting out is really cheap insurance! FOBs are cool and make it easy to get in and out of your car, along with starting it without fiddling with keys, but they also make it very easy for the bad guys to take possession of your car if you don't block the signal when you are out of the car. It's just not worth the risk and will give you that extra peace of mind. Also, be sure and ALWAYS lock the car and keep the fob on you when you fill the car with gas at the station to prevent those dangerous criminal "sliders" from entering your car from the other side.

Works when used correctly.
Looks good and works well after testing and using the correct pocket. I originally thought I got a defective product, but I was just using the wrong storage pocket. For these to work your key fob needs to go in the rear silver lined pocket, NOT the front black pocket. The front pocket offers no protection and is just for storage of small items.

Works great when you're using the correct compartment--great single-fob size
REVISED October 5, 2025: When I received this bag, I didn't realize that there are two pockets in the interior of the bag... but only one is shielded. So I initially used the non-shielded section (it's easier to access) and the bag didn't work at all. Once I realized there was another pocket in the bag, I moved the fob over and it worked fine. I tested it from several different angles, and the car could not detect the fob. Make sure to use the shielded pocket, and you'll like the bag. The small version is quite small: Perfect for a modern fob and a single key. If you need more than that, get the medium or large size.

Good product that works well
Great value product that does exactly what it says. It shields my keys from radio waves as intended; even standing right next to the car, as long as the key fob remains in the shielded bag, the car door won't open. But as soon as I open the pouch and pull the fob even part of the way out, the door will open. The pouch itself seems to be made of good quality materials that should last. All this and I got two pouches for the one low price. All round this is a great deal.

Works ✔️
Does what it's supposed to. Walked right up to my dads Ranger and nada, car wouldn't lock or unlock. Personally I think the bag is a decent size, I don't find it too big like some people have said. It could definitely fit in your pocket. I bought these to keep the spare car keys in since they never leave the house. Better safe than sorry.
