These slices are pretty good quality, and as warned by the manufacturer, they were quite dirty and a few had cracks that had been repaired with glue mixed with sawdust. My slices were between 9" and 10" in diameter, and ranged from 1-1/8" to 1-1/4" thick. I bought these to cut in half and make small "floating" shelves with. I brushed the flat surfaces with a steel-bristle brush, then I used an orbital palm sander with coarse sandpaper to clean up the flat surfaces (I really recommend this!), then I cut the slices in half with a circular saw (don't let the slices fall to the ground or the bark will get damaged) and used a 1" Forstner bit to make a shallow holes for 25mm diameter steel keyhole hangers (also from Amazon). I chiseled out channels for the screw heads in the wall to slide in, then I sprayed the wood with polyurethane (making sure to saturate the bark) and I used two keyhole hangers for each shelf. Overall, I thought these wood slices were a bit pricey for what you are getting (but they all are, no matter where you get them, as far as I can see), but the quality was pretty good, and the shelves look great in the nursery!

The pieces of wood were all supposed to be roughly the same size and color. Some of them are significantly smaller than the rest, and some have large cracks in them, while others have holes in them. All of them are dirty and must be sanded and cleaned before they can be used under the table centerpieces.

I loved these wooden plates. Perfect for a table decoration. But the wood was messy and left flecks on the table. But it looks great and is rustic.

Worked great for the centerpieces we made for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary party. These are the largest ones I could find and they are thick and sturdy.

I loved them but 1 was missing I only needed 3 anyway so i kept them one was broke i got glued the broken peice so i didn't have to return but they are solid a d sturdy.

These truly are natural and untreated. They give off quite a bit of sawdust and shavings at first. But if natural is what you want, then these are perfect. Good price too. Used as a base for centerpiece, candles or to gather misc. items into focus.

Are to small the sign said, I think they lay went you see the post the majors are 10 to 11 inches but not is the true, the major is 7 to 9 inches. I think they are layers y ruber my money
