Good size and dissolves easily.

Came in flimsy box that split open during shipping - spilling salt over other items in shipping box. Table / food item should have been in sealed container to avoid contamation.

Good size salt for a grinder, good value for the box, and it tastes good.

Fresh salt on foods adds to the flavor and taste. We received battery powered salt and pepper mills as Christmas gifts. I could not find bulk, consumable rock salt in our local grocery stores--the national chains-P and K. Also the local FM only carried small, pre filled mills for sale. The size and price of the Tidman's was just what we needed. You can't let large quantities of salt sitting around for years--it loses it's flavor and would be thrown out. My only criticism is with the mills themselves--they work so well that we use a bit more salt or pepper than we probably should!

Shocked at the small size for the price & it’s not returnable!!

It is salt. Great for cleaning our cast iron. Be prepared to immediately transfer the salt into a different container as the cheap box rips apart very easily. When mine was delivered, all of the salt was just in the mail envelope with the empty box sitting on its own contents.
