I love this hair color, been using it for close to 20 years. And not it’s discontinued, I’m so sad! I purchased the alternative, color is off and was not happy.

I've been using this for a while, and from time to time I'll try different colors or different brands. None of them seem to work as well as this color from this brand. It covers my gray hair well, and the color works well with my natural hair color, which helps with not worrying about grow outs etc. A lot of the other ones I've tried even though they say they cover gray, don't. This does it very well.

Garnier is very good but if you only color like I do every 4 months the color does fade.

Beautiful! Turned out just as expected. This is not my first time using this color and I was a bit nervous that the product wouldn't be authentic for the price it's listed for through Amazon but I can verify it is absolutely the same as this exact box color from your local retailer and the outcome as well! The best hair color hands down. I had been dying my hair for 30 years and the smell kills me. Not with this brand. The smell is not strong at all. Super user friendly.

Even since Loreal no longer offers the Mega Reds, I've been struggling to find something that is similar to the their dark intense auburn. This one is a little too bright for me. I thought it might tone down after being washed, but it's still pretty bright after four shampoos. I'm still getting color in the rinse water too. This is the first color that I haven't shampooed to remove after application. The directions say to only rinse until the water runs clear (which never happened even after rinsing for 30 minutes) and apply the conditioner. I hated the feel of my hair afterwards. It was heavy and dirty feeling. Felt better after the first shampoo though. It did cover the grey very well. Better than the Mega Reds did. So I'm still searching for the right color.
