Nobody buy this!
This is not a good mouthpiece. I needed a new mouthpiece and bought this for the low price buy it wasn't worth it. Squeals horrid all the time even after practicing quite a few times. My high baffle metal mouthpiece was easier to get used to.

Great tone for great price
You get a great tone with this mouthpiece, just make sure you have a small enough ligature to hold the reed tight.

Good sound, nice quality
I like it. It sounded really nice during concert band and I'm thinking of getting one for my tenor too. The A5 is not very bright like many other mouthpieces, so it would better work in orchestral environments rather than jazz.

OK Mouthpiece
The Rico Graftonite are very nice mouthpieces, play well, fairly free blowing. My only disappointment with them is they feel big, bigger than the Vandoren or Brilhart's. This is a good all round mouth piece for an Intermediate player and a fair step-up from say a Yamaha 4c. Mouthpieces are a personal choice, Play many of them, get a feel. I recommend this for Intermediate students.

its a nice mouthpiece well made maybe a bit tight on cork. not easy to use but that's my fault for picking the wrong 1.
