- Call of Cthulhu: Masks of Nyarlathotep

This is for the Chaosium version of the game, which I opine is the best system for it. The books are well made for mass market. You'd be well advised that the third part is loose leaf for handouts to players as their characters go about their investigation and that you should perhaps have a way to keep them together should you wish to put them all together on the book case without the slip case it all comes in.

Lots of adventure and handouts for the game. This will take a group many many sessions to get through. Great story line.

I had the pdfs for this set and used them to run the first two scenarios. I was getting annoyed with scrolling through to find things to I figured I would get the books as well for reference. I am not disappointed. They are really good quality and very easy to work with. The binding allows then to open flat with ease. The Keeper Screen may come in handy as it has a quick reference for all the NPCs in the game. Everything is just very well put together. I probably over use CTRL-F with the pdfs and will still use them, but the physical copies are something to behold. I will be tabbing the various sections for ease of use, but I think these in conjunction with the pdfs will really fun to use.

I was shocked at the sheer level of extra material presented, placing that on top of the overall quality of Chaosium's recent works and it was a huge bargain for the price.

Aunque dispongas de una antigua edición de estas "Masks of Nyarlathotep", esta nueva edición te aportará tantas cosas nuevas y ordena de forma tan magistral las viejas que desde mi punto de vista deja obsoletas cualquier edición anterior. Alucinante, excelente relación precio/contenido.

Llego a Argentina en 2 días y en 3 mas a mi casa (sur de Buenos Aires). Y eso que toco control en aduanas!! Lamentablemente ahi le golpearon una punta a la caja y se magullo, pero eso no tiene nada que ver con Amazon ni con este vendedor en particular. Todo de 10, super recomendado.

the quality of the books and the writing is exceptional, cant wait to start my campaign with this later in the year.

Top notch. One corner has received a touch of damage (I would suggest the seller and/or shipper include padding on all 4 sides, even if that means just balled up papper), but for the price it is hard to find a reason to complain. It was still in its plastic wrapping, and shipped at break neck speed even with the Covid-19 issue going on. The campaign itself is top notch, and detailed beyond belief. Not EVERYTHING is spelled out for you, but I dont see that as a weakness. This is a campaign made and intended for a deep dive and to be handled by a Keeper with a degree of knowledge to pull from. Getting the chance to plug your own flavor and ideas into the game should be relished, and offeres a chance to play it differently with different tables. If you have the stones, pull the trigger. Your players will love it.

Can't wait to run this for my group.

Trata-se de um jogo clássico muito bem escrito muito importante para o universo do RPG de mesa e que merecia uma publicação de melhor qualidade. A gramatura das folhas é baixa, menor do que do livro jogo Call of Cthulhu 7ed. O Slip Case veio com vários amassados e alguns pequenos rasgos que podem ter acontecido no transporte ou pode ser que já estivesse assim. Os mapas e outros recursos visuais que vem em folhas soltas são protegidos por uma capa fina que deixa o conjunto muito difícil de manusear e guardar novamente sem amassar ou rasgar.

I am a Cthulhu fan and enjoy the odd roleplaying game, so when I saw I could get this for a good price, I was quite pleased. It is a lovely set of heavy books that are lavish throughout with good rpg content for Call of Cthulhu. I have yet to read it all and G.M. the adventure, but I am so glad I bought it and look forward to immerse myself and intrepid PC's in this enthralling adventure.

Desde que llegaron mi novio no ha parado de leerlos. Es Dungeon Master y está tan fascinado con la complejidad y lo completos que son estos libros que asegura que los clásicos de DnD parecen mal escritos comparados con Call of Chtulhu, las máscaras de Nyarlathotep Hemos tenido la dicha de poderlo jugar y es increíblemente divertido y completo. Si te gustan los juegos de rol y tienes con quién jugar, 100% estos son tus libros.
