The handle definitely seems like it would be most comfortable for those with smaller hands. The butt of the handle appears narrow in the photo, but it's actually flattened (imagine the orientation like a dolphin's tail), allowing for more control against the palm of your hand. The sheepsfoot blade shape means you're not going to be poking or stabbing things with this knife, so you may consider it a safety feature, but basically this is a slicing-only knife. The blade is beveled on BOTH sides, so the cut doesn't veer off at angle. The plastic handle is lightly textured, though not something I'd necessarily use while wet, and easy to sanitize because it's plastic and not wood. I have not and do not intend on putting this in the dishwasher. I haven't used this for very long, but given the price and that it's made in Japan, I'd buy again.

Really nice, sharp knife for cutting fruits so I'm really satisfied with the purchase.

gibts nichts wo man entäuscht wird gut verarbeitet und wenn es stumpf wird wie bei jedem anderen Messern einfach nach schärfen.Grundschärfe ist völlig in Ordnung.
