Wirefy Crimping Tool Set 5 PCS - Ratcheting Wire Crimper - for Heat Shrink, Nylon, Non-Insulated Connectors, Ferrule Terminals

For the money, I don't think this set can be beaten. I bought them for a home garage tool box but the quality and convenience of this set was a pleasant surprise. The dies fit snugly in the frame and feel solid during the crimp. So far, I have not yet had a bad crimp with non-insulated, insulated, and insulated heat-shrink connectors using this set. The case is convenient and each die set is clearly marked with its own designated spot in the case. This is now my favorite set of crimps to use. Very impressed with Wirefy. [UPDATE] I've now been using this crimper set for over two years and it has become my main crimping tool. I have since gotten rid of two Klein crimpers (one of which had broken) and replaced it with this one. Early on I would have said I prefered to have the thumbscrew locking feature of the Kleins, but the dies in this tool seat securely with a socket-like retention ball. Still five stars.

I'm an electrician who builds custom control panels, and I really like this. The interchangeable jaws are easy to use, and with those interchangeable jaws, I can carry just one pair of pliers with me. It makes nice neat crimps in insulated and non insulated terminals and pins, and is also great with ferrules. During the course of work I've dropped these about a half dozen times from the height of 4' to 6' and they show no damage. Overall, I highly recommend. It's a great buy.

I bought this, along with a non-insulated butt connector kit and a heat shrink tube kit, to repair broken light wires on my semi trailer. This combination of tool and connectors makes a secure and weatherproof connection that isn't bulky. It's much easier than soldering and seems to be just a good of a connection.

I really like that you can switch heads out quick and easy and crimp pretty much everything you can think of. The only thing I don't like is that after quiet a bit of use that one of the braces that holds the jaws together had popped loose and when you need to crimp bigger wires the jaws spread apart and alow the crimp head to slip back and not make a complete crimp. Tacked it back together with a welder and it seems to be working now, not sure if I just got a bum pair or if they are all like that. Other then that small issue they are great! I would highly recommend them if your looking for new crimper just keep a eye on your jaws incase mine isn't a isolated case

EXCELLENT quality tool...wish it had included the MC4 jaws rather than having to buy separately. Tool looks extremely well made and designed. Love the interchangeable jaws. The main reason I bought it was to do MC4 connectors but they had to be purchased separately. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. I use plenty of other connector types and it will work way better for them than what I've been using for many many years. Great to see a decent quality tool for once! Good value.

Works perfectly, easy to use.

So for years I have gotten by with the standard crumpers and wire stripper devices. Some good crimps but never great crimps; and not to forget the sore hands when there were many crimps to be made. On this last project I decided I wouldn’t do it the old way any longer. These crimpers are top quality as are their branded crimping devices. Will never go back to the old way. These are the way to go! Period!

Superb tool value! I bought this set and it was perfect except that one of the interchangeable jaws was slightly loose and wouldn’t click into the handle— it functioned perfectly, but would slide out if I tipped the tool downward.... I posted a review here describing my issue with a short video and was promptly contacted by Wirefy (the manufacturer). They quickly made it right by sending me a replacement. So not only is the tool a great value, but the manufacturer stands behind their product. How refreshing! When they initially contacted me, I mentioned in my reply that I would be glad to edit my negative review if they took care of the problem. They responded by making it very clear that they never ask customers to modify reviews, and that such action is solely at the customers discretion... Not a typical response in my experience. I find that leaving a negative review often results in a vendor or manufacturer offering to replace a defective product only in exchange for removal of negative comments. While that’s not necessarily unethical, it is a little shady in my opinion. So bravo to Wirefy for having some integrity. To be clear: This tool performs perfectly, crimping as it should. Ratchet action is smooth, jaws click into place nicely in the handles, parts are clearly labeled, and the case is more than adequate. I will buy more Wirefy tools as needs arise.

Recibida en tiempo corto. La tenaza es muy robusta y el manejo se hace comodísimo, además del maletín de servicio que trae. De mucha calidad y realmente útil el cambio de mordazas, después de la mala experiencia de tenaza con tornillos. La he utilizado con bastantes terminales en un cableado y ha sido perfecto, tanto el apriete como el acabado. Resumiendo. Una gran herramienta y de total confianza y calidad. La recomiendo. Tenaza para muchos años.

It works well. Easy to change from die to die and seems to be a quality tool.
