Bought it for a specific purpose that didn't end up being needed. 2 years later, I did need it. Great experience - the kit had everything required - I did not have to go to my trusty tool cabinet for anything. It took some muscle for sure - some familiarity with mechanical things was helpful. However, instructions were clear, parts where quality, no mistakes were made (uncommon for me!) and it fixed the flat. The nail was on the out edge of the tire, and the shop said they could not repair it as the tire needed replacement. So, I was in a no lose situation. Saved me a bunch of money and made me feel good about the whole deal. Great kit.

I really like this tire repair kit — it has everything you need to fix a tire at a very affordable price. Easy product saved me time and money

I haven't tried it yet, but it looks like everything I'm going to need in an emergency repair on the side of the trail and it's in a nice case so I don't lose it.

Ich habe mir leider einen Nagel eingefahren und musste zum einen auf einen Reifenwechseltermin warten und ein paar Kilometer mit dem Auto überbrücken, so dass ich mir diese Set gekauft habe. Ich konnte mir ehrlicherweise nicht vorstellen, dass es klappt. Erstaunlicherweise hat es geklappt und der Reifen ist absolut dicht. Es ist selbstverständlich, dass ich mit diesem Reifen nicht über die Autobahn „brettern“ werde, sondern nur ein paar Tage in der Stadt und schlussendlich zum Reifenhandel fahren werde. Das selbsterklärend und leicht zu bedienen. Was ganz wichtig ist, ist das ausführliche vorbohren. Ich habe leider zwei Inlays verbraucht beziehungsweise musste ich sie wegschmeißen, da ich sie nicht in das Rad einführen konnte. Der Grund war, dass das Loch zu eng war, was an einer zu geringe Vorarbeit lag. Erst beim dritten Versuch und drei „Bohrungen/Kratzungen“ und viel Gleitmittel (im Set enthalten) ging dann die Nadel mit dem Inlay komplett rein. Zum Schluss nur noch rausziehen, das überstehende Inlay abschneiden und das Rad aufpumpen. Es hat super geklappt! Das Rad hält seit Tagen dicht!

Das Reifenreparatur-Set ist gut verarbeitet und hält, was es verspricht. Die Werkzeuge aus Stahl sind stabil, liegen gut in der Hand und funktionieren auch nach mehreren Einsätzen einwandfrei. Ich habe damit schon Autoreifen, Motorrad- und sogar Rasenmäherreifen repariert – alles dicht und zuverlässig. Die Handhabung ist einfach, alles Nötige ist in der kompakten Box dabei, und man kommt schnell wieder auf die Straße. Kein billiges Wegwerf-Set, sondern ein solides Werkzeug für echte Nutzung. Für den Preis top – sollte in keinem Kofferraum fehlen.
