My old brush bit the dust. I was intrigued with the "anti-static" properties this brush promised because I have very fine stick straight red hair down to my waist. With a normal brush you brush through it once and I look like one of those Tesla Ball participants. And the anti-static was good for the first 5 times I used this brush, but then it lost it's anti-static mojo, even after cleaning. Without the anti static it's still a fabulous brush.

It's like any other paddle brush; it is not anti-static.

seems to be a fairly good brush so far, no frizz, big plus. it does still tug at my hair some though, so there is a small amount of daily hair loss yet, but still a big improvement over all.

pulls on hair and pulls a lot out, isn't as gentle as claims
