I would give this sink 10 stars if it were possible! It’s simply gorgeous! I love everything about it. The price was very reasonable compared to ones we looked at in the big box stores.

Installation is a separate beast. I recommend anyone interested in getting an apron sink for their first time do deep research on. However, that’s besides the point of this review. This sink is awesome. It was smooth, did not have terrible warping that I’ve seen other ceramic molds do, smooth, arrived spotless, and scratch list with no chips, and I was able to install a garbage disposal to it with no issue. The hardware included can serve for sinks that do not have a garbage disposal unit, but if you require one, a separate flange will be required here. The screws and rings for protection will definitely need some love with some plumbers putty, I do not recommend silicone on this job. The price is amazing for what it is. If I could make any changes, it would be that the drying rack or interior rack of the sink would match the hardware included. It does not. I will also note that the included rack has a tendency to rust, but it does wipe off. It’s just a minor irritation.

I have had the sink installed for a few days so I thought it was time to write a review.Firstly ... the good. It looks great and the finish is excellent. It is a beautiful white color ... quite like a typical toilet color of white. The bowl slope is nice allowing all the water to drain quite nicely. The front edges are nicely rounded at the corners allowing a wide range of protrusion options. I chose 1 and 3/4 inch protrusion for no other reason than "I like the look". One serendipitous aspect of the farmhouse design is that it leaves quite a bit of backsplash area making water and debris cleanup quite easy. And because I went with the single center drain hole model the plumbing was the simplest I've ever encountered.Now for the "not so good". Since the material is cast porcelain the outside edges of the sink are not particularly straight and if you're as picky as I quite a bit of sculping will be required to achieve a consistent gap between the router edge of the sink and the face frame of the cabinet. Kind of like achieving a consistent gap on the sheet metal of your car. Worst of all it took a couple of hours of effort and modification to get the disposal mount installed. The porcelain is simply to thick at the drain hole to accommodate an out of the box Insinkerator disposal mount. So ... after a bit of mount modification I was able to obtain a couple of thousands of an inch gap so that the disposal mount could be installed. This is not good. I'm not sure the mount can ever be uninstalled. It took me and my neighbor 2 hours to install the mount ... something that typically takes one person 10 minutes. Perhaps I could have ground down the porcelain ... but I was not willing to try that solution for fear of really messing up the sink. It leads me to believe that Lordear has never attempted to install a disposal on this sink. I've done many disposal installs so this was not a case of unfamiliarity. If you're not doing your own install of the disposal your plumber is going to hate you ... or simply tell you to get someone else. I gave it 4 stars but I'm being generous.

This is big and made a great sink for our dog wash station in the laundry room. Works great, easy to clean. Dogs up to about 50-60 pounds max though I would say.

This sink is a beautiful edition to my remodeled kitchen. I went from stainless steel to this and WOW what an upgrade. It was quite difficult to install - but only because we did not have the right base. If you are thinking about purchasing this and you have a standard sink - DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST! We had to pay $700 (in Miami) to our handyman to rig our cabinet to be able to support this very heavy deep sink, and install. If he hadn't done that, we would have paid about $600 for a new cabinet, have to paint it, and still have to install the sink. I wouldn't change my decision if I wouldve gone back, just be prepared to pay about double all in.
