Tripp Lite 10Gb/100Gb Duplex Multimode 50/125 OM4 LSZH Fiber Patch Cable (LC/LC) - Aqua, 1M (3-ft.)(N820-01M-OM4)

Bought this to replace a busted non-Tripp Lite 10Gb fiber cable (the end had been snapped from the junction box). This replacement worked perfectly. Swapped the cables on our switch and was able to ping to our other floor within seconds. The first ping after install had a dropped packet and over 2000ms ping, but subsequent pings have been less than 1ms and 0 dropped packets. It's perfectly normal for the initial ping to have a hiccup as it establishes its connection, so no worries there.The fiber cable seems very well made and was packaged neatly in a circle pattern protect the cable (you never ever want to bend or kink a fiber cable, ever!).Solid product - would buy again!

Not much you can say about an OM3 10gig fiber cable but in this case you'll want to watch out for the release tabs. The two individual fibers have their own release tabs like a normal LC connector, however this cable has added an extra piece that covers both of those tabs to make it 'easier' to release, and it prevents you from securing the cable properly in an SFP+. So, if you're using one of these, it will work fine, just be very careful to push on each connector individually under the release cover until you get a positive 'click' that it's secured.I purchased several lengths of this so will re-post review to the others.

I ordered several of these patch cables. I got them quickly with Prime shipping. When I first plugged them in, I thought that I had a major problem. Neither these nor the other brand that I bought were working. Then, when talking to the local electronics seller, they suggested that I tried reversing the polarity of the connections in the termination box. BAM. Both my switches lit up just as they should have. These cables have been great and I have not had any problems with them at all.
