Small Digital Alarm Clock Battery Operated, Cordless, Travel Alarm Clock, Brightness Adjustable, 12/24Hr

I wanted a battery powered, digital clock that stayed on overnight whilst I travelled around the country and this clock is perfect. I find that if I cannot see the time when I wake up during the night, then this actually makes me anxious, which hampers my sleep and I struggle to get a good nights rest because of this. This little clock stays on all night, keeps perfect time, is not too bright and doesn’t disturb me during the periods that I wake up during the night. I cannot comment on the alarm, as I use my mobile phone for this. A great purchase and if you are like me and need to see the time during the night then this is perfect. Photo taken from my bed in pitch darkness. The photo has come out slightly brighter than it actually appears in real life. Probably more to do with the camera than the digital clock.

As described, the brightness allows me to see the time in the dark without affecting my sleep. Clear instructions. Small enough to use as a travel alarm clock.

Nice looking and easy to use, would recommend.

Finally, a travel-sized digital clock that doesn’t require being plugged in to always show the time! I’ve been looking for a clock with this feature for a while as I don’t want to have to press a button or make a noise in the night to see the time. I travel often for work and like to be able to see the time if I wake up in the night, as it helps me sleep better than having to check my phone. Ideally I wanted a usb rechargeable version, but I’ve opted to use rechargeable AA batteries for this as I couldn’t find a usb version. The clock has 3 brightness settings, with the lowest one being perfect for night viewing. The clock is a good size with large numbers displayed. I can’t comment on the alarm functionality as I’ve only used it as a clock, but it has stayed accurate for the past 3 weeks since I purchased it. The small cardboard box it comes in is also useful as a travel case/box. I haven’t used this clock for long, but so far it does the job.

Smaller than i imagined, 120 mm long. But its great. As i popped the second battery in it lit up already showing the correct time. Simple button adjustments, set it to 24 hour display, set the alarm, and thats it. The snooze button is touch sensitive, so you dont have to feel around for a specific point. The lowest of three brightness levels is clear and easy to read unless placed in bright sunshine.

Bought this to replace an old digital clock that was far too bright, ran fast and always reset in a power cut regardless of a backup battery. This was a great buy, a really nice size and I love the different brightness settings. It keeps the time perfectly and has lasted just over 7 months on a pair of 'Energiser Alkaline Power' batteries before needing them replaced. I can't comment on the alarm function as I don't use it, I just keep the clock on my bedside table so I can see it when I wake during the night. The display doesn't show up that well on very sunny days, but for all the sunny days we get here it's not a problem for me.

Still very bright at night, bought adhesive filter to reduce which certainly worked. However it gains time very quickly, currently 5 minutes over a couple of days which requires resetting, bit annoying and unacceptable. Had I not had to buy the filter to reduce the brightness it would be sent back

Lovely digital alarm clock, good alarm and easy to see at night.

Works great, tiny and lightweight. I have it in the family room (which is generally fairly dark) and it can be easily seen at a distance even on the dimmest setting (which honestly isn't much dimmer than the brightest setting). I think the complaints about not seeing it well are when the clock is in direct light or under very bright lights. When brighter light hits the display the entire screen seems to glow red and makes it difficult to see the numbers. I don't have any issues with the blinds open on a sunny day, but the sunlight never hits the clock directly. In most indoor settings I imagine this will work well. In a bedroom or darker room, it will be what you need. I liked this clock so much I just ordered another one for in the basement. [Edit: bought the clock at the end of Feb and didn't have to change the batteries until the end of September...so great battery life added to the list of things I like.]
