There are few stuffs which I feel hard to rate or rank as ain't sure if they work as they are supposed to, this filter very much falls in that category. Never a need for me to get so far until one of my friends suggested I change the filer after a quick inspection. Started with my wide search in Amazon and the original replacement(it is unfair to say the brand name) costed more than a mini-fridge. Browsed through next set of options taking into account the price point, ease of installation and average reviews. Belvita ticked the most so decided to give it a try.1) Delivery & PackingAs always amazon delivered it on time tightly and neatly packed. Opened the pack and started installing them.2) PricingFirst the price point, surprised that it less than half price on what I would have paid for original replacement , you can get three of this for the same price.3) InstallationThis is my first experience changing the filter, so faced little difficulties but removed the older and fitted the new without breaking sweat.4) Fit for purpose It is more than a week since I have installed and haven't seen any difference in the taste albeit a little leak which my friend said is quite normal. Everything is rosy so far and hope it lasts 6 months to one year.Would recommend at this price, go for it.

The instructions re installation is poor. Had to find out from Youtube.Filter working well.

Basically. Once you pull out the little clue collar, you need to push the white collet in so it is flush, then pull the plastic plug and it comes out. Otherwise you butcher the thing like I did with the photo!

I've bought a lot of water filters over the years and these are the worst I've had. To be clear, once installed they do the job of purifying the water perfectly well (as far as I can tell). But they're a bit smaller than the other filters I've bought, which means they slip through the brackets I have on the wall behind my fridge for holding the filter in place. Also, it's incredibly fiddly getting the in and out tubes to fit without leaking. I've got pretty good at this with experience, but it was very difficult to get these filters working without water dripping out of the bottom of the filter.

I don’t seem to able to put it on myself . It did take some time for my handy man to get it on
